I find it odd how most raccoons seemingly aren't scared of humans. This person must feed them regularly or something. Apparently they wreck everything, bite for no reason, and make terrible pets because you have to keep them stimulated.
Cool photos of the Venus transit on June 6th. And planes. It's a shame it was only visible in the UK for about half an hour at sunrise if it wasn't cloudy and you had a clear view of the horizon:
And while I'm at it, I'll annoy people by slipping this in here and plugging my stuff. Project will be a year old this month:
“I always believe the movies I've made are smarter than the way they are perceived by sort of mass culture and by the critics,” Snyder said, a statement he immediately followed by saying, “Also, ‘It looks like a video game.’
Haha, that's funny, though if it were to happen in reality, the movie would be re-released with the words super or ultimate inserted at the beginning of the title and will feature a few more video game characters.

EDIT: Here's some true WTF I just found. Guy missed his cat after he was killed by a car, so he had him taxidermied... Then as an art piece, put the pelt over an RC helicopter frame.
I mean the cat is far, far beyond caring and it's just as disrespectful to an animal as a pair of shoes or a fur coat, but even so... That's a very weird way to preserve your beloved pet.
And intelligent crow is intelligent:

That Rupture Farms looks amazing. I want to explore it.
Have you worked out the interior of the plant yet?
Just a reminder that there's an entire discussion thread about this, but I will say that I'm learning about how both meat processing plants and oil refineries work and have a good plan of what to include in the interior to hopefully give the impression of a functioning factory with an Oddworldian vibe... Although I don't know what that'll be like when rendered with a limited set of re-skinned Minecraft blocks.
i've been going through these whenever i want to kill time. i used to read the Goosebumps books as a kid. this bloke is basically re-reading and writing up a review for each one in the series. i think he's pretty fucking funny.
Oh god I loved goosebumps when I was little. In a similar vein, here's Every episode of full house reviewed in chronological order. I never watched full house when I was little (we were expressly forbidden from watching Married with children, Full House and Power Rangers(??????)) so it's pretty funny.
I remember the cover for The Beast from the East always creeping me the hell out. Also, I used to think that The Werewolf of Fever swamp was a super-rare collectible or something because our school's library didn't get it until like 2002. Also it was thicker than the other books.
There was a choose your own adventure line of Goosebumps that I loved to borrow from the school library for months on end. It had a pissed off catperson on the cover and was either about a cat circus, a cat island or a cat jungle of some variety.

Yep, it's weird that Goosebumps is mentioned. Yesterday I was looking up Ripper, some FMV game from 1996 and it reminded me of Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland.
I want to play that game again.
