"I'm staunchly atheist, I simply don’t believe in God. But I'm still Catholic, of course. Catholicism has a much broader reach than just the religion. I'm technically Catholic, it's the box you have to tick on the census form: 'Don't believe in God, but I do still hate Rangers..'"
They're good reviews, but not great. Still, it looks good and I'll probably go to the cinema for the first time in about three years to watch it. Tintin is the best.
The reason I want to see it is that I always loved to watch the original Tintin's when they were on TV. They were really good. I remember some of the episodes were really creepy though.
I'd like to know how you manage to happen across all these things, MM. You really are a strange and delightful person.

Ah, we are high school boys,
the miserable high school boys.
If we were girls, we could get popular by doing anything:
rock band, jazz band,
karate, kendo, mahjong, cyborg, synchronized swimming...
On the other hand, high school boys are
useless outside battle and sports anime.
But they're recklessly trying to make a slice-of-life anime about us.
Ah, we are high school boys,
the miserable high school boys.
So which bit of it made you want to explode from anger specifically? I'm curious.
Also, I think you might be taking life a little too seriously.

I don't know, the whole scene. An anime girl dressed as a cat with an awkward man telling her something and then the anime girl says something fucking annoying and it's so 'kawaii'.
Seriously. If a thirty second anime clip which is pretty obviously a shout out to Chuck Jones (Loony Tunes) style visual gags makes you want to explode with anger then how are you going to deal with real life?
