And no. It's an alarm meant for disabled people and it can only be turned off by the security guards downstairs after they have checked that there actually wasn't an emergency. But rest assured, it's loud and it beeps (my friend thought it was the light switch at the beginning of the year...).
Aww boy, just realised that sounded bad, I just wanted to see some people charging around a building because of the alarm! Not you fiddling around with some cord. I'm just gonna be quiet now.
