I tried but gave up in the Red/Blue games, but I picked it back up in Sapphire, then did it again in Diamond and Platinum. The birds are really good team additions, but when there's Dragonite to replace Pidgeot there's no point.

I'm not sure if I'll have a Noctowl in HeartGold/SoulSilver or not.

From the 1st gen of the game it was Scyther.
From the 2nd it was Scyther.
3rd, Scyther and 4th Infernape <---- he was badass.
