I'm playing Destroy all Humans 2 and BLACK for the PS2. DAH2 is really outstandingly okay. The writing is dumb (though not always) and it seems like I was collecting a lot more brains in the first game from the get-go, but it's still fun in a silly way. A lot of the 60's-derived humour (levitate someone with psychokinesis, they say something like "WOW I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS HIGH BEFORE") gets stale, but there are still little funny parts that shine through to me. "I loved you in The King and I!" There's something for everyone.
Now, BLACK. Probably the most well-designed 6th gen game I played. If not, it's a close race between it and MGS3. It looks GORGEOUS for a PS2 game, has incredible sound design, and is ball-crushingly hard at some points. Also, if I'm not mistaken the plot for CODBLOPS was definitely lifted almost entirely from BLACK, apart from the Russian mind control. It's one of those games everyone should play just because a very, very good job was done in creating it.
