I'd like to clarify I do want a remake of AE, I just don't think it's as important as you do.

Conversely, I'm the exact opposite. I think it's quite important to bring Exoddus to the modern audience, however, I don't really want them to do it. I love Exoddus, it's my favourite game of all time, bar none. It's perfect (in my opinion), and no matter how much passion goes into the remake, I don't expect to have an equal or better experience. I don't mean to discredit JAW, because they're amazing and passionate and the series couldn't be in better hands, but Exoddus holds a special place in my heart that cannot be replaced.
That being said, at least with a remake of Exoddus, they might finally have an excuse to produce Sligstorm. Wasn't that going to run off the same Oddysse/Exoddus engine? If so, it would make sense for Sligstorm to follow.
EDIT: This makes me wonder, what happens after Exoddus/Sligstorm? Will we get a remake of Munch, or will we skip straight ahead to an auxiliary Munch story or Squeek? Because new audiences who are experiencing the remakes in chronological order might be thrown off if they have to go back and play the (arguably) inferior entry in the Quintology. Considering this is a "new" canon (with the re-design of RuptureFarms and extended humour) do you think Munch will be erased in favour of a new vision, or will audiences be expected to go back and experience the great spooceshrub adventure before continuing the journey?
