Glee and Black Books. The former alright, the latter funny.
Black Books. i love that. i got the DVD wotsits, but i thought the third and last series they did was pretty poor compared to how great the previous 2 were.

Watched H. Jon Benjamin's new show Archer.
Gotta say, I'm impressed with how many times it made me laugh out loud. I recommend it to anyone who likes that irreverent, awkward kind of humor. Of course, like 75% of the funny is just Benjamin's performance. Everything he does is just great.

Just watched "A Genius, Two Partners and a Dupe", a sort of sequel to "My Name is Nobody" that I only recently heard of.

If you're into spagetti westerns, especially Sergio Leone who directs the opening scene, I definately reccomend it. Soundtrack isn't as good as some of Ennio Morricones other work but there is one tune during a chase that I reckon's one of his best (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZcHo6Mlhaw first track on this vid)

Book of Eli. It was alright, simultaneously preachy and a solid critique on crazy religious types. Gary Oldman was fucking crazy in it.

I watched the new episode of Rab C Nesbitt just now. It was alright, but it wasn't as clever or as funny as the originals. Plus, the fuckers replaced Gash with some young lad.

I went to the cinema yesterday and saw Avatar in 3D, I'm just that late to the party.

Film was pretty fucking amazing, there wasn't a single second in it where I wasn't gaping and squeeing. The colonel was just TOO fucking awesome.

Cliched is when it's done badly, there was nothing in that movie that wasn't done well.

Avatar is sold out for every single fucking showing here. Every day. I saw it twice and liked it quite a bit, but it's been out for over a goddamn month.

Anyways, I saw The Tooth Fairy. It was pretty fucking mediocre, but meh, good waste of 90 minutes. Every single time The Rock says "Oh Yeah." in it made it better though.

Clichéd is when an idea had been used so many times its become a stereotype, and its not nessecarily bad.
The plot and script wasn't done particularly well, but a lot of other stuff was done well, like the SFX

The script was probably the most clichéd element of the film. I dunno what you're on about. If by SFX you're referring to the recycled T-rex sounds and the like, I wouldn't really call that a cliché.

It was laconic, an effect akin to reading The Princess Bride, everything was done so well it ceased being tired and NOTHING was superfluous.

Last night I watched 'Burn After Reading' and 'Role Models'. Both were pretty funny, but I prefered BAR just because it was so well written.

Role Models had some hilarious moments but was funny just because it was stupid, but it had that McLovin' kid in it... I never got why he was such a big deal. The 10 year old black kid however was genious.

Tonight I'm watching 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', which I'm looking forward to.

You will not be dissapointed.

I just watched American Beauty...I am speechless. Its one of the best films I have ever seen. Kevin Spacey is a phenomenal actor.

No, Kevin Spacey is a hacky actor who managed to find the one role he would be perfect for.

He's just like Woody Harrelson; fantastic in any role that was written specifically for him, shite in everything else.
