Oh, I get it! If the woman had died from her dream being mixed with a real feeling, then no one could possibly know how she died. Only she could, since she did not share the reason of her death before she... died. Therefore, there could not be a story.

If you were to dead, you couldn't possibly explain why you died... Since it happened to you and you alone. Therefore, the artist could not depict his death after it happened. Only another artist.
