Oh yes. They're nice to you if you're a passenger. If you're another driver/cyclist on the road, you're a lost fare and only holding them back from their job. They truly are bastards when it comes to road etiquette.
EDIT: I should mention that nearly every time I get a taxi, the driver always slags off either pedestrians or other drivers for a minor faux pas on their part and not shut up about it for the entire journey home.
