I half agree with you.
Although it is very unfair to judge a person by where they were raised, where you live actually
does have somewhat of an impact on you personality, behavior, and judgement. All Americans are exposed to the same television shows, same radio stations, same music, and same politicians. But most importantly, they are exposed to the same society. Over time, the media will shape society person by person, like a virus in a way. People will begin to think like the majority of society because they are afraid of not being accepted.
But yes, not EVERY person from a country is exactly the same. That's as broad of a generalization a person can give.
