They already did that to the existing game with HD textures, better models, and other tweaks. It's on PS3 and the Vita. I think I heard somewhere that they'll eventually release it as a free upgrade to the PC port like they did to Stranger, but I dunno.

I think a lot of us want to see Munch's Oddysee as it was originally planned - intricate, character driven story, rather than 24 levels that are all exactly the same, and none of which have anything to do with the overall story of Munch's Oddysee.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say - And I'd like to see that, but don't think it'd be worth the effort of doing that just to satisfy the fans who weren't happy with the original back in the day.

That's what I was trying to say! God dammit! Do-over, not remake!

The reason I say it's inevitable is the fact that they cut out most of the big ideas, especially story related ones, so in order to do Squeak properly, surely they'd need Munch to catch up first.

EDIT: Actually, let's get a few things straight:

Stranger's Wrath HD = Rerelease

New 'n' Tasty = Remake

New version of Munch's Oddysee based on the original vision = Do-over

Oddworld Racing = Awesome, I want!
