doesn't look that much different, though why they would put anything at all, let alone goo, is beyond me. Does anyone know why?

Though that picture isn't strictly a Hand of Odd picture, if I recall correctly. I have the actual E3 pamphlet that's from at home, I'll be able to check in a couple of days.

Found it! The picture is indeed from a Munch's Oddysee promotional brochure that doesn't even mention Hand of Odd. That said, Meetles would almost certainly have appeared in Hand of Odd.

On topic: In Stranger's Wrath, the opening scene featured a yellow bolamite. However, when you play the game, the bolamites look more like tarantulas. Why didn't they keep the yellow ones?

Hmm, maybe. I liked the yellow ones better, is all.

I remembered a few lines about something called a Skeeter. It was a giant mosquito the size of a housecat, that sucked out the brains of the passerby. I cannot find a photo though. Nor do I remember what game it was planned for.

I very faintly remember something along the lines of a failed vykker experiment, but that might have been fleeches, or maybe a fanfic. I'm not sure.

I think that was Fleeches, I never heard of Skeeters as something of a Vykker experiment, but it could of been one planned for the game.

Nah, skeeters aren't vykker-made, I was thinking of something else.

I remembered something this morning, another creature that was planned was called a Stang. It was a cross between a shark and a Jellyfish. I don't think pictures have been posted, but I imagine that it would look like a bull-shark with sting-cells and maybe a few jellyfish-bell things out of its sides.
Not sure what game it was for either.
