in other words, they do not need to make these video's to your specifications, therefore you will find some good, and others shit. watching a video you think is shit will not always give the same impression to somebody else. giving constructive criticism is a good thing, just plain taking the piss is not.

i didn't say that anywhere in my post. i said the person you're criticising can ask for your own work if they want, and probably will if you're being an arse about it. i didn't say you have to be an expert at it, or even moderately good. i was being sarcastic when i mentioned the word 'amazing'. obviously that went over your head.

realise that this is a difference of opinion. we're going in circles because there is no definitive answer. i will like things that you do not, like the LP's we've been going on and on and on about. you think harsh criticism will do someone good whereas i think its unnecessary.
