Maybe Rupture Farms wasn't the biggest plant on Oddworld, but that doesn't matter- what matters is what the Mudokons believe, which is that it WAS the biggest, and Abe destroyed it. Therefore, they are willing to follow him as their Messiah. I think, for your average lazy Mudokon, that kind of thinking is the only way to get them psyched up for revolution. In my humble opinion, anyway

That goes for any Mudokon who believes 1029 was the biggest RuptureFarms. Move towards the more cultured urban areas, or just further from these particular sticks where there might be equally or more impressive RFs, and the Mudokons might not be quite so impressed.

Hell, if Rumor Kontrol is doing its job properly, news of a Mudokon uprising shouldn't have spread beyond the region AO–MO takes place. That kind of bad publicity can ruin a company's image.

OnT: I think that 1029 is probably the biggest simply because there is no reason for Lorne Lanning ot be lieing when he made the factory.

OnT: Except that it wasn't Lorne that said it, it was Abe; just because you can't think of a reason, doesn't mean there isn't one; and even if you're right, Lorne may have changed his mind subsequently.

Oddworld isn't just a result of Lorne Lanning's efforts, it's the result of a sizable amount of people's efforts. And also, Lorne Lanning has projects other than Oddworld.
