OOC: Jeebus caheebucus, you guys got quite a bit ahead of me. I'll have to cathc up.
IC: Kipricat followed Rigel to C, hoping he wouldn't be left behind. Once there, he followed Rigel's lead and searched the area*requires dice roll*. Hoping he might find some lights, as neither he nore Rigel had brought any kind of light source.

IC: Kipricat stopped searching for a moment He had definately heard something. It could have been anything. He was scared now. Not dreadfully, but scared nonetheless. He hadn't liked the looks of this factory to begin with but now? Now it was begining to be too much.
OOC: It requires a coin flip for the being scared thing right? Cause Kipricat's scared of noises, and I suppose the scream counts. Also, this kind of cancels the dice roll.

To clarify, the only people that can directly hear the scream will be the ones in the room. For now we'll say it happened in B. Everyone else just hears 'a distant noise' and isn't affected. Everyone afraid of noises will need a coin-flip. Instead of missing a turn, they may run back to a previous area or drop one of their belongings.

By the way, you should really spread out and check all the rooms, like D and E. Especially H.

= End of Hour Three =

Moyris shuffles around and checks the transmitter to see if it works. - 3, transmitter barely works (but good enough).
Riles continued to fix the Jeep. - 4, Jeep is fixed a bit more.
Byron looks for a power supply for his flashlight. - 1, No luck (Byron is really unlucky eh?)
Dice roll to determine whether Dore finds an item. - 4, Dore finds a Flashlight and spots the Steel Drum that Byron found before (no more items left in B).
Krivzee tries to fix the power. - 1, failed. You need to get to H.
Kipricat searched the area. - 6, he finds nothing. (no more items left in B).
Rigel helps to scan the area with Kipricat. - 2, he finds nothing. (no more items left in B).

= Scared Check =

Dore - Heads, Dore is fine.
Kipricat - Tails, Kipricat's fear makes him run to D.

Sorry guys, there were only a few items in B.
From now on, every character can move TWO spaces per turn.
Hopefully this will enable everyone to spread out and find more items!

The Creeper : Hour Four
---------------------
The Creeper has finally appeared. This beast is so horrible that nobody can describe it without developing deep psychological trauma and going insane. Nevertheless, someone managed to draw a little doodle of The Creeper... (see post below)

Moyris tries to find out what happened in the factory, he heard a strange noise on the radio. "What was that sound?"

Riles continues to fix the Jeep, as always.

Byron turns around, "What was that noise? I'd better get going".
Byron runs to D.

OOC: Rook should definately head over to H right away and use the square key to restore power to the lights. I'd also recommend a trip to the armory, F to pick up some weapons.

Mars, you're getting confused again. You couldn't go from B to H in one turn (prior to my revised rules). Also, your headset is fine so it doesn't go BOOM.

1. move to B
2. move to C
3. move to H and try fix
4. fail fix and try again.

So wouldn't that work?

Mars, its an RPG, and in order for an RPG to work fluently you need to follow the rules and listen to people when they inform you about going wrong.

just go back and read the rules, they should answer the questions you just asked.

@AlexFili: do you know the results for my other die rolls in my previous post, or was there no need to roll? just wondering.

Guekko pulls his ears back at a noise, but gives no more reaction to it than that. Strange noises were bound to happen in such places. This noise was also soon sounded by another, the yelp of the slig he was following, eletrical wires gone awry. He moved up behind the slig, looking at what he was doing with these wires. 'This one is rather determined to get thigs right.' He thought to himself with a nod.

Guekko moves up behind Krivzee to observe what he is doing with these wires

OOC: Holy shindig I'm late. Oh well, let's just say I was flying around the room for a turn. I thought the Creeper would be some kind of sentient plant. It looks a little like a Darkmantle.\/


IC:
Chag fumbled around in the dust as he searched for anything of interest. One loose cable swung out. Useless, he thought. What good is one end of a cable? He needed something that could be reconnected if this power was going to be fixed. Disengaging his wings to save his fuel, he began to idly swing around the room from the girders. Suddenly, a scream pierced the gloomy darkness. In his distraction he missed his intended rafter. '*BS!*' Clutching at air he began to plummet, tugging the ripcord on his wings just in time to swerve out of his fall. Panting, he hovered overhead of the column of people(?), effortlessly banking the corner and heading towards the Storeroom. He needed to find something to make sure he didn't end up in accidents like that again. *Moves to H-ish*

Krivzee tries to fix the electrical power to the facility. - 4, Krivzee fixes the power and the lights come on immediately.

The Creeper : Hour Five

Moyris watches the lights come back on, "Great work team, now we can..."
Moyris' expression suddenly fell as he noticed a lot of other creatures hidden inside the facility, only just lit up by the power switch. "Oh crud... guys, you'd better get the heck out of there fast!"

Riles took one look, before fixing the Jeep. They had to get out of there no matter what.

Byron chuckles, what's the fuss? They're just weaklings. He takes out his pistol and shoots one in the head, knocking it flat on the ground. "Hehe, that was easy". He turns around to see a blackened Zombie Slig. The Slig bites into Byron's shoulders with such force that Byron can't help but scream in pain. His screams carry on through the headset, until soon a gurgling and a splashing sound is heard.

= * = * =

OOC: You're going to have to look in E and H for some weapons, otherwise your characters will stand no chance of getting out. Sorry to characters who have missed turns, but I really want to kind of speed this up a little bit.

The key unlocked the mechanism for the lights. Without the key you'd all be in pitch darkness now.

Is that the creeper? Freaky...
Now let's get this show on the road!

IC: "YES!" yelled Krivzee as the lights sprung on! Not a minute later he heard a scream through the modified headset. A wolvark scream. It was followed by splashing and gurgling sounds.

Byron is dead.

...YES!!!

Krivzee turned to the glukkon. "Come on! We need to find out what that was! Take a last check for anything!", he said. Krivzee looked himself. You never know if there's some device around...besides that slig that just came in. Wasn't that roo...ruk, rooc, or something?

Krivzee looks around the electrical room (Dice roll).

OOC: Remember, all Krivzee knows is that Byron is dead (thankfully), so he has no idea what's coming.

IC: Dore lay at the bottom of the stairs as Rook simply stepped over him, disappearing with a turn at the very top of the steps. then the lights flickered on. "Oh." Dore said, slightly pleased. "They got 'em working."

he stood up, and was almost deafened by a horrifying scream that only someone in great pain could emit. Byron. then something that sounded disturbingly similar to blood being splattered followed. he tore the headset off and flung it on the ground.

hands shaking, he reached down and grasped the hammer, a little tighter than necessary. he wasn't having whatever happened to Byron happen to him.

Dore runs to H
Dore searches the area for weapons

(only carrying the hammer in case i bump into anything on the way/before i find a weapon. at least then i'll have a small chance of survival).

OOC: Okay, it looks like you're both searching the same place, which is fine... but someone should also go to E and search there.

I feel like doing a bit of god-modding, hope MA doesn't mind.

IC: As Dore was about to enter H, he sees a Zombie Mudokon. Without hesitation he throws the hammer, which cracks through the Zombie's skull and remains there. He proceeds to enter H.

OOC: Oh my... This doesn't look too good for Kipricat... I was hoping for a more quite and killing people off one by one kind of game, but this'll work just the same.
IC: Kipricat looked up as all the lights turned on. Though this gave him some comfort at first, then he noticed something moving out of the corner of his eye. Panicking, he bolted to the slig, and attempted to explain that they needed to get out of here now. As he was explaining it, even though he had no headset, he heard a scream from the slig's. Even more distressed he frantically sped up his explanation. Kipricat also felt the need for a weapon now. Something big. Something very big.

OOC: Darkmantles are a D&D thing. I'm not really a D&D fan, but the monsters are very cool.

IC: Chag's wings shook at he jerked to a halt at the centre of the crumbling storeroom. Looking around at those sifting through the junk, he reaised that there was no point searching. All the good stuff would be gone soon enough. 'Hey! If any one finds a weapon they don't need, give me a shout, huh? A rope would be good too, if anyone finds any. *BS*' A draught caught his attention. Looking upwards, he saw a large vent in the wall. In always payed to have another way out. Rust flaked off on his fingers as he gave it a hefty tug *Dice roll*.

OOC: Sorry if this post sounds strange, I have actually completely lost track of whom is in which room, even what room I am in.

IC: Guekko stood around, blinking in the light, trying to get his head around what was going on, hand thuping on the ground in irritance and confusion. He sighed, looking around the various things around him, the circuit that had brought the lights back on, anything it was connected to, trying to find anything that would be of any help...whether the slicer thing that he had picked up earlier was any use he had no idea.

Guekko looks around, not expecting to find anything of use, not even a computer that could be utilised, but he tries anyway *dice roll*
