Am I the only person here who bought this game? If so, shame on you people.

The game is fucking gigantic. And fun. And awesome. The only complaint that I would have is that there are no indicators for where the collectibles are. It doesn't tell you that you have 12/13 in Bladehenge, and so on. Sooo, you have something like 64 square kilometers that you have to scour to find approximately 300 collectibles. I have found all but 7, and they have me wanting to tear my hair out.

I have it! And I love it to bits

the only problem is that I have way too much work to be able to play it as much as I want.

But be sure I'll try you out on the multiplayer once I have some time to practice.

I haven't actually finished the multiplayer on 'Splosion Man, and I am obsessive compulsive enough that it bothers me. The lag is usually so bad that the later levels are impossible online, and April sucks so bad at the game that it usually just ends up with me yelling "Splode on splode, motherfucker! Not on 1! Not on 2! Not on 3! On splode, you fucking asshole!" And then we stop playing while she contemplates leaving me.

Also: Are you even on my friends list? 'Cause you should be.

Back on the subject of Brutal Legend, I'm with you on the collectibles. A couple of the races have actually irked the shit out of me too. I hate the fact that the Ed Roth-esque toad monster can send you flying off a cliff with the slightest nudge.

If you get ahead of him by using nitro on your first straight away you will never see him again. I beat all of those in one try. Then again, I played it normal. I can't vouch for brutal.

The problem I've had a couple of times with the nitro strategy is that he'll often ram me before I really get going, causing me to spin out. Which means I brake. Which means nitro wasted.

I can't say they've all taken me just one try.

I thought that you had a 360 for some reason. I guess not.

I picked up three more of the items I was missing last night. Only four more to go. I'm pretty sure that they are all on the eastern continent, so hopefully I won't have too much trouble finding them.

Well I bought it today and I r staying round a friends house tonight having a marathon of it.

This is really really awesomely amazing, a fantastic adventure game was just what I needed.

It's actually a lot of fun when you start doing four vs. four matches. I learned more about how to play the game while doing the multiplayer than I ever did from playing the single player.

One bit of advice to everyone. Double team. Double team, double team, double team. If you aren't double teaming, you are doing it wrong and making the game so much harder than it needs to be.

Also, use your rally flag so that you don't have to keep going back to your base to give orders to your new troops.

I'm currently replaying it, so....yes. Once you're done with the regular game, get into the multiplayer.

Borderlands is going to get a shit ton of sales right off the bat. We know that. Brutal Legend can use everything it can get, right now. If we want to see big publishers continue to take chances on interesting games that don't neatly fit into an established genre, then we have to support those games when they come out. If we wait to pick them up, the gaming community will see them as a failure.

Look at Psychonauts. Very poor initial sales. However, it went on to sell an extremely respectable amount over the course of about four years. It turned out to be a well selling game, but all game journalists (and gamers) still refer to it as a flop. While this is not true, it still creates an aura of failure around a company that makes publishers shy away.

In conclusion: Fucking all of you fuckers buy fucking Brutal Legend.
