Wow, it's been a while since the last chapter. So, here's another.
A beautifully warm sunlight streamed in through the wide window. Garnet smiled and she spread herself out on the bed lazily.
"It's good to be in a nice warm bed, isn't it?" Garnet asked her twin.
But there was no answer. She called her name, "Amethyst?"
Silence. Garnet sighed and rolled over. Her sister wasn't there.
"Probably having breakfast."
As Garnet lifted herself up from the hotel bed, there was a soft knock on the shiney wooden door.
"Come in!" she yelled.
The door opened, and Abe walked in, his large feet sliding on the glossy floorboards.
"Hey Garnet." he greeted, and sat on Amethyst's bed.
"Hiya, do you know where Amethyst is?" she asked, bouncing on her bed.
Abe shook his head. "Nope, I haven't seen her at all."
Garnet nodded. "Are you gonna help me find her?"
"Nah, me and Munch have some business in town..." he explained.
"But I'd help you if we were free."
"Alright, I'd better go find her." Garnet announced, as she stood up.
The outside air was hot, and the Sun burned brightly overhead.
Garnet sniffed, she could smell a sweet scent. It was coming from a little outside café, a Clakker lady walked around, 2 plates in hand. As Garnet looked more carefully, she saw a pile of honey-covered pancakes. The hungry Mudokon drooled and rubbed her belly.
Suddenly she heard her name being called, and Amethyst was waving madly from the corner. Garnet smiled and bustled over to her twin.
"Finally out of bed then sleepy head?" Amethyst teased.
Garnet grinned. "So, have you ordered anything yet?"
"Nuh-uh. I was waiting for you." Amethyst told her.
The Clakker waitress finally came over to them.
"What would you like, sweeties?" she asked kindly, a notepad in her wing.
Amethyst picked the sweet waffles and ice cream, and Garnet picked pancakes.
The waitress smiled and walked over to the chef.
"Where's Abe and Munch?" asked Amethyst.
"Business, or something..." Garnet said bizarrely.
Amethyst snorted.
The twins hunched over the table, and clutched their stomaches. The lovely food had made them full, and it was very hard to move.
Garnet suddenly let out a massive belch. She looked around guiltily.
"Heh heh... 'Scuse me..." she giggled.
"Well... What do you wanna do now?" Amethyst said.
Garnet immediately had an idea. "Let's go shopping!"
