I think if Oddworld is serious in seeing their original vision made a reality, they will eventually get back to Squeek whether in film or movie form (most likely both with the way production is working now).

It's possible to love a character (personality) and story without an image or design.

Just as many people "love" how others sound online. you never get to see the actual person until it's too late, but you enjoy their "personality". Or at least, the kind of personality embodiment they have taken as their own online. (that made no sense, but so what?)
However, I would love to see Squeek and the design they have for him. or even a general story-line.
