So... since Dark Souls is coming out to PC and none of you have any excuses to not play it anymore, who's getting it? And if you are getting it drop me a wee message so I can add your ass on Steam for some good oul grindin' fun.

... Edmund McMillen is releasing remastered versions of his old Flash games in The Basement Collection on Steam...
... PopCap have officially confirmed Plants vs. Zombies 2 as a thing in development (and also started making t-shirts)...
... Peter Molyneux makes good on his reputed insanity...
... and Black Isle, creators of such classics as Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment, have supposedly reformed. Supposedly. It could just be a load of random people who bought the name.

On a related note, modders have leapt to attention in fixing the half-assed port. The first out allows the 1024x768 resolution to be changed to anything your pretty heart desires.
I'm thinking about buying the Ratchet and Clank Collection tomorrow to play UYA online and the Sly 4 demo. I'm really excited to hear some impressions on Sly 4, it looks awesome, too bad it got delayed 'till 2013...
Indie Game: The Movie implied Team Meat were pushed into rushing the latter development of SMB to be part of some promotion deal, which later failed to materialise.
But they were part of a promotion deal. They were part of the Summer of Arcade promotion which is extremely popular, and shows boosted sales for pretty much every game that takes part. I'm sure they had the option to not be part of Summer of Arcade. It sounds to me like it was offered because Microsoft thought the game would do well, Team Meat said yes, and then complained because they had to rush to be part of it. Not exactly getting screwed over.
I might not like the idea of Playstation All Stars Battle Royale (because it's just a rip-off and all that) but I'm very glad they didn't forget about Crash. Now all I ask they put him in the original outfit, none of those tattoos or awful hair from the recent games.
