Yeah that's not really what caused any of our problems. At all. The whole 9/11 shit was a trickle down from some bullshit the States did years prior that it totally shouldn't have done. Most of our other terrorist attacks happened internally, usually done by white US born usually christian/catholic citizens.

Like legitimately immigration does nothing but allow our economy to flourish. If we stopped immigration this country would suffer for it. If we banned an entire religion we'd be going against one of the main things this country was founded on.

It's even worse when the person(s) being supported don't condone or are disgusted with the activities of their following/fanbase. How can you say you stand for something and then do the exact opposite of what you claim to believe uggh

Even with that incident, though, Trump supporters haven't been any better. Trump himself has supported and encouraged violence at his rallies. Even if the peaceful protesters did just that, peacefully protest, he has expressed on numerous occasions that he's fine with his following assulting these protesters. Some of the people protesting for certain causes that show up at Trump rallies have also shown up at Sanders rallies without any physical altercations ensuing.

The best example thus far are the BLM protestors, whom were later revealed not to be anything but a handful of people out to make BLM protestors look bad (which I'm not sure I believe but w/e), that stopped Bernie's speech to loudly complain to a rally of people who were only there to listen to Bernie speak. At a Trump rally, that likely would not have ended without someone being physically assulted.

The thing about Trump is that the things he says have some justifications to them. The problem is the man saying them. Because even if he wasn't saying all these things, Trump would still be a giant douche with absolutely no content to his speeches whatsoever. I disagree, muslim extremists want us to take extreme measures to rally up their supporters and make it look like we're all against them. It wouldn't stop terrorism anyway because most of these attacks are pulled off by homegrown nationals. There's a lot of red tape involved with sending someone over the refugee pipeline that a terrorist organization wouldn't risk getting involved with when they could just recruit people who are already citizens.

Also also, digressing to the whole how healthcare works in the states deal, I was talking to my mom about this whole discussion earlier today and found out that that point when I told you healthcare was at it's worse in terms of accessibility, it was because at the time our healthcare wasn't competitive at all since insurance companies weren't required to cover everyone and clinics could legally refuse you treatment.

When Obama passed the Affordable Healthcare Act, it was a push to make our healthcare more affordable by forcing it to become competitive. I knew AHA made it so everyone was required to have insurance, but I didn't realize that people were allowed to be denied insurance at all, and I definitely didn't realize healthcare didn't used to be a competitive market here. With the act, he also required insurance companies to insure everyone, and told clinics that they can't deny treatment to anyone.

Thing that sucks about it is by the time we would have seen what this would have accomplished, someone else who makes it into office would have put through something else to replace it

I don't get the level of hatred against Hillary, though. I don't like her, but I don't think she's the end of the world. The worst you can say about her is that there are certain policies that Barack Obama has implemented/continued over his presidency with which I disagree, and Hillary would continue all of them. These include: Drones, NSA surveillance, counting innocent bystanders as legitimate terrorist targets, generally unproductive foreign policy, Trans Pacific Partnership, etc.

Trump is evil. But he's still a better option than Cruz or Rubio. Dear god the country's fucked if they get in.
