Predators also don't kill people who are unarmed, from what i'm aware anyway. I haven't seen the second Pred movie for ages, but i'm sure he left that Pregnant woman unscathed.

Didn't the other Predators kill the main Pred in the second movie though, for being un-honoury or something?

On the alternative ending note, i hope that it's not just the endings that are different, but a vast proportion of the film. Because if they are going to go and show different endings in different theatres, then i find it doubtful only the hardest coreness of fans would go and see the movie 2-3 times [that's if there's an ending for Marines or whatever as well] just for the last 10 minutes.

On the Spiderman 2 topic, i hoped that The Lizard was in the film as well, they could have had a thooperlicious scene in where Doc Ock was about to do something outrageously bad or something, and then have The Lizard leap out of nowhere and do some vicious rolling about [like Spiderman was trying to stop The Lizard, Doc Ock comes in, not seeing The Lizard, and thinks Spiderman is trying to find a way to stop him, then the Lizard appears all "Grrr-Arrrg" and does some rectum wrecking]. Oh yes, ooohhh yes.

On Spidey 3 villains, i hope that they have Venom and Carnage in, even if it's a small cameo for Venom, and then a possible spin-off for Venoms story, although i have no idea how that'd work. But i heard that they're going to have that Electric guy in the 3rd...hmmm...poo.

Saying that, i've been thinking that a 'Blade Vs Spiderman' movie would be quite interesting and good to see, only if it got an 18 rating though, so it could have all the juicyness of Blade in. Oh and a good writer. The 3rd Blade is s'posed to be set in a Vamparic world, which sounds poo.

On another AvP note, the concept art for the 'predaliens' looks really quite cool. Much better than I expected.
Only one ending will be shown in the movies, other endings will be available to see on the DVD much like some in the new alien boxset ones.

I think Danny Glover ended up killing him in the ship. The Preditor had tried to self destruct, but Glover destroyed the device and severed the Preditor's arm with his own razor-disc weapon. (He kills the Preditor with it at the end.)

I love the scene where the Preditor crashes into that old lady's bathroom and perfoms self-surgery, while the woman outside listens to the bizarre screaming noises within.

re multiple endings, the movie 28 Days Later had multiple endings. I think in some countries the first few weeks it was out there was one ending and then after that there was another with a third only on the DVD. Or it may have been completely random which ending you would see when you go. I'm not sure.

I personally would go and see the movie once and then rent the DVD to see the other endings.

+ Kirsten Dunst isn't really a bad actress, just really really boring.

Really, hollywood takes a good thing and runs with it until it's ruined. Comicbook movies are good, but I'm getting tired of them.

Anyways, the predators darn well better when in the version released at the theater I always attend. Because those guys are wicked. And also, didn't the one in Predator 2 just run around killing drug lords, much like the one in the original Predator?

The costume is what gets me, they should have stuck with the original actress and the original costume, because that black leather-white stitching kicked bouncing baby boys!

But yeh, i agree that this movie is going to be rubbish, the fact they're saying "Oh, it's a different Catwomen, yeh, it's a better story as well...yeh...better.". No it's not. It's a crap story, an Egyption Cat God-thing has brought the silly bitch back to life...no...not good...badness. Silly Hollywood people.

That movie was superb. A story that draws you in, and the fight scenes were some of the best I've ever seen. Best comic book movie. Ever.

Halle Berry can obviously act well, as she demonstrated in X-Men and its sequel. Why she would take a crappy role like this, I don't know. Catwoman looks thoroughly crappy.

Why couldn't they have called her something else though? I so don't understand that. Catwomen is a name that brings about an image of an amazingly dressed neutral character, who isn't afraid to kill people for a good cause. But now, they have an Egyptian God bringing her back, and the God is in the form of her pet Cat apparently.

The original concept for Catwoman rocked, with all the Cats flocking to her and licking her.

There's always an "anything goes" period in movie releases. People are having hard times coming up with new ideas so they recycle old ones. And maybe these days the consequences of making a bad movie aren't as heavy as they used to be, since CGI effects are becoming cheaper and easier to do. The CGI effects for a movie like Terminator 2 can pretty much be done at someone's home nowadays.

I'm confident that future movies and some of the movies mentioned here will be better, but I can't really surmise anything at this point.

One movie I really hope gets bombed is the SpongeBob movie. *gags* I loathe spongebob with a passion and I even drew a picture of him depicting my hatred. It's here. Spongebob has been haunting me with his clich'e design and annoying laugh. And the fact that the guy who does spongebob's voice does the voice for 75% of all other male characters in cartoons today pisses me off two times over.

God, please let Roger Ebert give this film a "BIG-ASS thumbs down".

I must agree with your hopes, SS. But, I enjoy some of Spongebob. Granted, in excess, it takes annoying to a new level, and makes it grate on you for some time after. Which is sadly what Nick has done with it. Not only that, but pretty much all of the newer episodes suck worse than that of a low wage, imigrant hooker. A few episodes were actually quite good, and humorous at times. But pretty much like most all modern bands, you can pick out just as much stuff that sucks equal to that of brilliance.

But, don't you worry. Nickelodeon movies may do decent in the box office, at least as far as I know. But in actuall quality, they've paved the way for a new low in animation/live acting. Good Burger was a great skit back when All That rocked. But the movie was horrible. Rugrats was a pretty good show in its younger years, but a bit before that stupid Dil came along it was shot down. The Wild Thronberries was made worse than it already was. The Hey Arnold movie could've been decent, as it's a strong show for the most part, but was an utter failure in my opinion.

About the only thing any Nick movie ever did good for the world was introduce Action League Now, one of the few shining highlites that made Kablam! (Which I heartily love for being the sole time I've heard "sexy" on Nick).

I never enjoyed any of Nick's movies. Rugrats was a good show back in the day, but now they've completely degraded themselves making "All Growed Up" in a desperate attempt to attract more viewers of a higher age. Honestly I'm sick of Klasky Csupo, they animated and created Rugrats, Wild Thornberries, AAAh! Real Monsters, As Told By Ginger, and a whole mess-load of other Nicktoons that I hate. Nowadays I only watch Nickelodeon for Invader Zim and occasionally Action League NOW. Now Spongebob has made itself Nickelodeon's image and whenever you see it on a poster or T-shirt you think of Nickelodeon, proof that it has very little image of it's own. Yes, I will admit Spongebob is original, but it's a rare moment when they break away from their constant trend in theme. Oh well, after the movie I hope they will end my torture and cancel the show.
