The website where I found the picture jokingly stated, Chinese women use hairdryers as abortion devices.

Thus, population control 101. Or 505 in China's case.

I'd name my daughter Bliss.

And I'd name my son Bright.

Surprisingly I really like the idea of naming my daughters after virtues. Grace, Faith and Hope are really nice names.

Chastity, Prudence and Mercy not so much.

Undecided on Love. I think it's adorable but it invites a lot of bullying.

I like Grace, Charlotte and Beth as three girls names, there aren't many others I'm keen on. Ha funnily enough I had a crush on all three of those names at one time or another.

your mum is robin williams lol

Go search for 'Molluck's Assistant' in WDYLL.

I think I've mentioned before that I'm the last (potentially) reproducing male in my family, which makes me under a very tiny amount of pressure. I wouldn't mind seeing my obscure name going on for a few more generations myself.

I think three kids is a good number. Then if one of them's mean to another they've got someone else to go to. That said, it's not great when two gang up on one, inevitably the youngest. So I suppose one child then a pair of twins would be best. Then the twins could hold their own against their elder sibling.

Namewise, I want to call my son Heinrich. Heinrich is a fantastic name. It's exotic, you can call him 'Henry' in formal situations and 'Rick' in casual ones... I suppose he could get some stick from other kids because of Himmler, but frankly I think most children have moved on from that stage by the time they learn about Nazi politics.

Also Victor. Or possibly Raymond.

For girls, I like seasonal things, because I like seasons. And then they feel like part of the year is just for them. So Summer, Autumn, April, May, June, August are all good. Especially Autumn, April and June.

April makes me think of melting snow on Spring branches. Nice.

But but August is derived from a male name.

So what? It's still a month. Autumn probably just means 'dead leaves' or something.

And I wouldn't really worry about Latin names. Most of them were designed to be unisex. 'Julius' becomes 'Julia', 'Augustus' becomes 'Augusta', 'Flavius' becomes 'Flavia' etc.

I don't want children now and I think I don't want them when I'm older. To be honest, I like children when they're bubbly and happy but whenever they cry, shit themselves and throw wee tantrums make me not want to be a full-time father.

Not too mention that I don't want to look after them whenever their adolescents because I don't have the patience for the bullshit they throw at you; that makes me respect my step/parent all the more.

I'm easy. When I'm not in college I'm quietly stashed away in my room on the Xbox or internet and when I'm not doing that I'm at the pub or my boyfriends house. I do all my ironing and cooking so that's less jobs for my parents to do. Buying clothes? I'm very easy. I either buy my own but whenever my mum buys me something, only once has she ever bought me something I don't like.

Who wants to be my parent?

I don't know if I want kids, but last time I said that I got death glares from my boyfriend's younger sister.

In a way it'd kinda be nice, and I will be the first to admit that I don't hate kids as much as I say I do. I wouldn't think I'd make a good mother but then, I wouldn't know, I've never been one.

The family name is getting passed on by cousins, so no pressure on that front. Mum sort of wants grandkids, but no pressure on that front either.

I've never understood the pressure to have kids in order to pass on the family name. Admittedly, that's probably because I'm only actually the first generation to be born with my surname, so we dont hold any great importance to it. But even for families that have had their surname for centuries, I honestly don't understand why they value it so highly.

You know what has an even deeper effect on a person than the first moment they hold their child in their arms? The moment when they are told that the child can't live with you because I don't love you anymore.

Fuck, now I'm giving serious thought of naming my son Roostre. I LOVE that name. I'd raise him real good.

I'd call my Daughters Auschwitz and Dachau, of course. NEVER FORGET.

Seriously, though...
I'm terrified of children. I would not want to ever hurt my kids or drop my baby or whatever. I do not want to be my dad. That is, my actual Father, who was a physically and verbally abusive tyrant. The thought of turning into a neck stomping, ruthless thug like that makes me dread my inevitable parenthood.
