My lunch at work today was pathetic. It consisted of orange juice, half a tube of pringles, and a slim jim.

I JUST HAD MORE PANETON WITH SOME CANELA TEA WITH CREAM AND SUGAR.

And for lunch, some turkey with apple sauce and this purple-ish rice that tasted like olives with a little salad consisting of beets, green beans, carrots, and large corn.

just had that cheese board. not many cheeses but they were; double Gloucester chive herbs cheese, some swirly thing that was garlicy, Mexicana cheese (USED SHUT UP), Wensleydale & cranberry cheese, and of course Applewood. on Ritz biscuits or those digestive things.

i'm going by memory. sorry.

Yesterday my paternal grandmother prepared some antipasti, tortellini with meat sauce, roast meat and peas, then we had a very very good dessert, a cake with a delicious champagne cream! Today my maternal grandmother cooked (after the omnipresent antipasti

) pasta and then voulevants, roast chicken, vegetables, and other meals that I don't remember because i didn't eat them ^^ Then we had a fruit salad and a dessert: a Panettone stuffed with a cream made with custard mixed with whipped cream and chocolate! It was exquisite!

Tonights dinner was pretty fucking good.

Much like AIN, we started with an antipasti. We then moved on to minestrone and focaccia. Shortly thereafter, the veal parmesan, sausage and peppers and manicotti were wheeled out.

Needless to say, I'm fucking full.

Christmas eve dinner consisted of delicious turkey, a honey-baked ham the size of a small child cooked to juicy perfection, halupkis (meat-stuffed cabbage), smoked oysters, mashed garlic potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry salad, and freshly baked rolls by the basketful. There were also dessert trays of cold-doughs, nutrolls, peach rolls, powdered cookies, poppyseed bakes. Fucking yummy.

Today had a more buffet styled selection. A bevvy of cheeses; Port Salut, d'Affinois, Havarti, Roquefort, and Paneer all served on cracked pepper/sesame seed water crackers with honey and roasted almonds. Beer bread with artichoke dip, shrimp cocktail, crab/cheese puffs, samosas, scalloped potatoes, vegetable platters, caramel apples and plates piled with all variety of cookies and fudge.

Yep. Good eats.

for Christmas i had mash, turkey crown, Yorkshire puds, roast spuds, stuffing, sprouts, gravy and also some home-made onion sauce, bread sauce and apple sauce, with mint jelly. top notch.

for Boxing day today, we're having a buffet thing with the family over. you know its gonna be good when you see cocktail sausages and cheese & pineapple on a stick.
