Well I belive that we'll be getting our first true viewing of Stranger starting tomorrow (I've done investigating ) , the 12th. I also belive that we'll be seeing something of Oddworld's at this years E3....

However, all this was done by my investigating and Im not confirming this is at all true...but let us hope it is..

yes, and imagine that it was only the incomplete rough spin!

The imagery is brilliant! Just imagine the results of the final spin! My mind can hardly comprehend it!

Yeah that, and remember the sequence of him coming up the river, that left me in awe during the X Factor show.

Well I got a my hunch from the Polygon magasine website. Seince I haven't been able to find a copy here yet I went to look for related articles on the site and found one that mentioned an Xbox type of confrence in Japan we're they'd be "showing off" all thier lattest games. It supposedly starts today and ends tomorrow, but this is where I thought that the reporters at Polygon might have gotten their info on the next game.

Unfortunately though as we know Munch's Oddysee didn't even make it to Japan. So on one hand I really can't see anything related to Stranger being shown at a Japanese event.

Also, I am a frequent visitor of Japanese gaming websites [although I can't really understand what they are talking about most times, but get a rough idea from articles I'm interested in through a translation program]. I did see a reference or two to this the other day, so on doing some further checking now, this is more of a interactive tour for the public [like the Xbox Experience kind of thing] as opposed to a E3 or TGS kind of thing. So they are showcasing games like Halo and Project Gotham Racing 2 game, etc in three Japanese cities.

http://www.itmedia.co.jp/games/gsnew...13/news03.html

It has a list of games that were shown, but half of them are in Japanese, so they are likely Japanese games. The article also goes on to talk about a competition involved with the tour and the latest Xbox offer in Japanese stores.

I stopped by Borders today to take a look at Polygon Magazine and see the Oddworld thing. Well, not much to see this month about Oddworld actually. At the very last page it says, "Next Month: Life on Oddworld" and has a graphic of karate blob and salamander behind a white background. Blob and sal look exactly as they do on the OW Christmas card, except that added is the blob holding a staff, and a small hermit crab looking thing is at the foot of the page. I didn't even buy it, so I'm looking forward to Polygon Next Month.

Sorry, Xav. Another reason I didn't buy it was because I had no money with me! I just wanted to see the Oddworld thing in Polygon. I didn't feel bad for not having money with me after I saw it though. It was a pic we've seen before that was minorly spiced up...if you could call it that. I'm sure Next Month Polygon is going to have stuff that is a lot better. I'm planning on buying that one!

Game Over

Oddworld have put up a link to the Game Over website, the show looks okay i guess. It would be worth taping for the abe and munch cameo, and if they show clips of Stranger, well worth it. We haven't got UPN in the UK, X-factor hasn't even been on yet.

It looks as though March is going to be an exciting month, with Game Over, GDC, Polygon mag and any updates from Oddworld.

Wasn't Mullock suspossed to be in it aswell? I remember hearing it awhile back but it could have just been speculation.
