There's the komodo dragon, the welsh dragon, St George (the patron saint of England) killed a dragon that was eatin all the girls in a little town somewhere.
I'm prtty certain I've seen dragons on Oddworld.

A centaur is half horse-half human. It has a horses body but where there should be the horses head there is a human upper-torso.
Centaurs are generally considered to be very intelligent and wise and also pretty nifty with a bow and arrows or a spear.
