Could you or someone make a tutorial on how to use the .lvl editor? If it's been done, can someone link it to me?

I plan to make one when paul feels ready that the editor is suitable for a proper stable release. It might not be soon but I'll see what I can do about making a guide that helps out when the time comes.

Yeah exactly, must have taken forever to work it all out, I'm sure Paul that you could work with Black Venom so that the next release of the level editor has the bytes labeled.

If you mean you have a Mac or Linux, then the level editor runs perfectly in Wine, just make sure you click no for OpenGL rendering otherwise it will crash.

Nah, I mean my laptop fucked up and now the closest thing I have to a computer is my android. I've had to get dumbed down versions of software I had on my PC for my phone. But Android is based of the Linux OS so maybe there is a way I could get emulators and stuff, but I duobt I could get the level editor. It's a Galaxy Ace so it's not compatible with Flash either, well, it wasn't,.after rooting it and giving it some serious upgrades I can now run Flash, and it runs on Ice Cream Sandwich now, so thats a bonus. I guess my point is that is there anyway to turn my phone into a computer? Or at least a really dumbed down one? I just really want to create levels and do all that editing shit, I bet theres no chance my phone could run that.

Well at the moment I've managed to change my Macbook Pro into a desktop.

But really though think about it, despite how advanced phones are now, it's still a phone...

Now is probably the time to say that Abe's Exoddus looks gorgeous on this!

but I don't see how that's related to this topic at all,
but do you think you could elaborate on how you've found this out? (last time I checked no one knows how to do this.)

unless you're talking about exodus in which case my bad : P (I'm not sure if you mean the graphics in front of Abe or behind because of the 1 in the fg you've posted :\)

You'll be able to edit FG1 layers in AO and AE in the next editor. There is random graphical corruption sometimes though. Just need to figure out if its something I've done or if the game engine can only handle so much FG1ness.

I was talking about the editor not the level, I just haven't heard anything about it in a while,

And I was asking how close it is to being finished if he could guess, (e.g. that level I'm remaking is 10% done)
