For what it's worth, the link that Legendary Oddworld posted that I deleted was not a beta, but was a full version of Abe 99. Definite copyright infringement there.

Well in that case, let me add to my list of tips:

6. Any website you want to start up that explicitly deals in distribution of copyrighted content is going to be shut down sooner rather than later. Once you start receiving official warning letters you'll be shutting shit down so fast you'll be unplugging your microwave just to be on the safe side.
