so i just watched Trailer Park Boys Don't Legalize It on YouTube. I think it's one of the best movies they've made. fucking cracked me up. Say Goodnight To The Bad Guys is still my favourite though. absolute pure weed-stinkin gold. Lahey just gets fucking crazier. in fact the entire cast just gets crazier. fucking awesome.

The new season on Netflix was pretty great, too. Much better than the previous season, I thought.

Yeah, it was the best season since season 5, or possibly even 4. The story arc felt a lot more focused and Leslie was a great addition to the Sunnyvale community.

I've recently been introduced to an 'adult cartoon' called Brickleberry.. It's so awful its hilarious.. i have never watched a show so politically incorrect, no wonder it has been cancelled after season 3! Nonetheless some of the things the characters came out with have had me dying of laughter. It make's south park look like family guy.

What a bizarre coincidence. I, too, have been introduced to an "adult cartoon", only it's named The Life and Times of Tim. I'm sure some of you have seen it, what with it being HBO and all. And also goddamned hilarious.

I'm gonna jump the gun here and say it might be the funniest cartoon I've ever watched. Howls of laughter.

Did you just say "niggety"?

Life and Times of Tim was okay. It can never stand against Home Movies, or Bob's Burgers.

I love Bobs Burgers! the irritating nasal noises they make cracks me up!
although I'm more of a dark-humoured person, i find Brickleberry morally wrong, but i love it!

Bob's Burgers is wonderful. The Venture Bros is an animated series I really like, too.

I never got too into Bob's Burgers, but it's a pretty good show. Probably haven't seen enough of it, but honestly I just find the characters kinda unappealing and obnoxious. Maybe that's the charm? I dunno. Doesn't do really do it for me like so many other animated sitcoms do.

Home Movies, though, definitely one of the best. It's got a lot more going for it than just comedy. Sure it's hilarious, but also incredibly poignant, whereas Tim is pure comedy and bone dry laughs, and I fucking love shows like that. It reminds me a lot of Curb Your Enthusiasm / Seinfeld (two of my favourite shows ever) in that respect, so I guess you could say it's right up my cuppa tea or whatever.

It's all about Tina, man. Tina is one of the best characters I've ever seen on television. So beautifully awkward.

She makes me feel uncomfortable, honestly.

I like Gene and Louise a bit more. Dig their enthusiasm for pretty much everything.

Tina is supposed to make you uncomfortable! But she becomes the most endearing of all the characters as the show progresses.

i just watched Murder In Successville and i'm still laughing now. oh my god. if you want a genuine laugh, watch this shit, seriously. it's one of those things you end up rewinding parts of because you can't stop laughing. some guy from TOWIE is thrown into a murder mystery where he hasn't been told a thing and he has to just 'go along with it'. the detective, DI Sleet, he's a comedy genius. it's on BBC iPlayer. just go watch it you won't regret it. it's a series too, i think. i fucking hope, i want more of this shit.

oh i also watched the new season of TPB and yeah, fucking great stuff, way better than their last season. i still prefer some of their older stuff though, but i'm not complaining. i'm fucking super-glad they're still running. and i still miss Trevor. i wonder what happened to him, like, in real life.

Maybe he just got tired of it. Dude's pushing 50, believe it or not.

I miss him too, though. If they do have another season they've gotta bring him back, if only for a brief cameo.

Actually if I remember correctly Trevor's actor left the show because he had a lot of disagreements with Clattenburg and most of the show's management. Too bad, I liked him way better than Jacob who seems to have sort of replaced him. The new season was pretty good though, Leslie was a fun "villain" in this season.

I watched Event Horizon yesterday, still as creepy as I remembered it to be. Very cheesy movie, but it does have a really unsettling vibe throughout the film.

Thinking of going to see the new Mad Max film when it premieres in a few days, anyone excited for it?

Just saw Mad Max Fury Road. I thought it was pretty good. Not as amazing as reviewers made it out to be, but still very enjoyable. It was essentially an over the top two-hour-long chase scene, lots and lots of action goin' on in almost every scene. I can't really compare it to the first Mad Max movies since it's been a long long time since I last saw them. I didn't feel like I missed anything too important even though I can't really remember anything from the previous movies. One thing that was a bit strange about the movie was that Max himself is more of a sidekick character, Charlize Theron's character was in my opinion the protagonist of this movie. Anyway, I really liked it, it was fun to watch.

Had a bit of a Star Wars marathon last night and watched New Hope and ESB.

I will say though. The changes they made in A New Hope's dvd release were god awful. Tons of unneeded CGI shit going past my screen. It took me out of the film several times.

But oh well. I still bloody adore those films, ESB is still my favorite in the franchise and thankfully is the least edited in the DVD version. I gotta find my old VHS tapes and play em.

Gonna see Fury Road later on today.

I honestly never cared about the changes to the OT. I get the distaste for them, and I certainly see why Greedo shooting first is a bad change, but I'll can't share it. Although maybe they've changed a lot from the last time I saw them and maybe I'll dislike the new changes?

Most them are minor. And some of them actually add to the originals.

But some of them are just... uuuugh. So horrible. Just watch this if your interested.

Yeah, Rick and Morty is great. Really looking forward to season two this summer. Between that, new Gravity Falls (HYPED) and Steven Universe, it's gonna be a good summer for cartoon lovers.

I hope we get more Lincler.
