Work at Rupture Farms (v.6)

[Marco the Glukkon]

Zuka peered over the top of Ike and Clem, and glared at the Vykker and Glukkon. Whenever these two species got together, it was definatley not a good sign. Nothing good came out of it. Zuka never like Vykkers, for some Odd reason, and had come to avoid them at all costs. Perhaps it was becasue they always thought they were better or something...he didn't know or care.

"Hmmph.....Vykkers..." Zuka sniffed the air and retched. "Filthy creatures...."

Zuka tapped his foot on the floor impatiently.

"Grrr...this is getting ridiculous! I am an elite Slig warrior! I shouldn't have to wait in line like this....grrrr....." Zuka said under his breath.

Clem stared at the Vykker and Glukkon as he waited in line. This Glukkon did not look too mean, but looks can be decieving. He trusted Ike, but at the same time he couldn't shake the feeling of being scared.

"Boy, this isn't a long line. That's ok if it was though, because I like lines."
Clem said. "It gives me time to look around."

Taking his dufflebag, Clem pulled out 3 things, a small glowing marble, a piece of paper with a list on it, and an oatmeal creme paramite pie. Taking the pie, he shows it to Ike.

"Want a bite Ike? It's a paramite creme pie! It's good, I can't get enough of these things. I eat them when I'm nervous...." Clem said.

12345abe, go and actually read the RPG licence thread. It points out that you have to have RPG experience before you can make your own RPG, which you evidently don't. So no, you cannot have a licence.

Last time Dionysia introduced herself to these two she used her lab code, cus she genereally thought it sounded more intimidating if everyone had to call her DS-P.L7 version 4.
Despite a slight instinct to say it again she just couldn't be bothered, "Dionysia." She looked up over the stockyards before answering the big one's question (I believe steefs are bigger than grubbs?), still seeing nothing but smoke and dirt. "I'm nothing... An arrogant nothing."

The female mudokon cautiously looked both ways down the hallway she encountered. So far, no sight or sound of other beings- she was beginning to wonder if the train had dropped her off at the wrong place...

Hey, Dripik! Can I join the show? I was thinking of bringing old tybie_odd's characters back(Smudge, Jayne, Vince, Correl, and Adrian). I don't know about you, but the whole thing felt different since they have gone...

BTW Why do u have to type the code from the image each time you're searching?

Ike looked at the Pie Clem had just offered him and decided against it.
"Uh...no thank you. I'm not too hungry right now."

*He looked back at the two talking directly in front of him. He shuffled his trench coat and moved his legs a bit, but remained quiet.*

OOC: Fortesue13, I'd at least start a character or two for your own first, and if you are/become good enough, perhaps then you could ask such a question. Maybe you could ask Splat about it too.

OOC: I agree with Zerox. We don't even know if you can RP, Fortesque. And even if you are OK at RPing, I can't decide instead of tybie_odd. Vince, Jayne, Correl, Smudge and Adrian are her characters after all, not mine. I'd prefer you created a profile of your own to start with.

"Hey, am I to blame if she's a bit... faulty?" asked Arnie. "Prototypes are bound to be like that, even if it's a Mudokon we're talking about. And don't start the usual On-Cartels-Orders stuff, I already know that. I just can't understand how they want me to keep an eye on a Mudokon and successfully run a factory at the same time."

He noticed some new people behind Krik, waiting for him. "Listen, if that's all, I'll just talk to these fellows."

After some minutes, Rick had successfully cut the metal plate. He turned the welder off and examined his work. The plate was shaped like RG's face, with two openings for the eyes. Meanwhile, RG finished working on his damaged optical sensors. He placed the torch on the table. Rick was still watching the facial plate, amazed by his work... Until RG took it from the table.

"Hey, what...?" said Rick, and he looked at RG. The robot was examining the plate.

"So, your sight is OK then?" asked Rick, surprised.

RG looked at Rick, who sprang back in his seat. RG's face was still smashed, and the usual glow coming from his 'eyes' again made the picture rather frightful. "Yes, I have fixed my sensors, as you can see. I only need to replace my facial plate and the covering glass over my optical sensors." he said, looking at the plate again. "I have to admit, you handled to the task better than I expected."

"Uh, thanks." said Rick, deciding that he'll take RG's words as a compliment.

"Sure, let's get going then." said #7 Slig, joining Dek. "Say, what're you planning to do with Molt after we capture him? Do you think there's a way to make him less psycho? You said something about chips earlier..."

OOC: Just to let you know, I'm not going to be active until Saturday. I might check in tomorrow morning, though.

ooc: MM, Slaveless, if both of you have lost the plot for your characters a bit could we just jump forward a little and say they've found a hose and meet Anni in the halls. Right about now there's nothing for the characters at the tower to do other than sit around looking bored.

Krik nodded his consent. "That's the trick isn't it. Running the factory and keeping an eye on her. Maybe you could have one of your employees keep an eye on her," It was just a suggestion, not an order, "Someone whose dedicated, or she'll probably get away from them. Anyway, I'll be leaving. I'll just go an call a train and be off."
He gave Arnie a parting gesture and headed back up the stairs and towards the security office. He went to the office fone and called his lab to order a train.

"Well" said Dr T, "were do I go for a job enquire?"
"I dont know" replied #4.
"Dont just stand there come in with me and have a look around" snapped Dr T.
"okay, okay" wined #4.

After exploring the factroy Dr T. and #4 came across a muddokun, [Ike]
"Excuse me", said Dr T "were do we go for a job enquire?"

ooc: Hey, I haven't posted in awhile.

ic: Ark finished his leg and left the tray with a "Why bother" look on his face. After exiting the cafeteria he pulled out the map he had discovered a little while ago. Examining it he exclaimed, "Right seems simple enough," and trotted off. Not realizing that he dropped the map on the floor. His feet making soft thumps, that reverberating off the walls.

After a few minuets of walking, climbing stairs, and looking through random doors, Ark realized he hadn't the faintest idea where he was.
"Great, not only did I lose my map, I'm lost myself." Ark muttered as his feet carried him nowhere in particular.

Surprised to see sunlight reflecting off his tattoos, (causing them to sparkle) Ark looked up, and saw that he was on the same platform he had arrived at. What was also surprising was that there were two sligs, on the platform. He just stood there gazing at them,(because he couldn't think of what else to do) as the sun made his tattoos glow. (Which was something he had always hated, ever since he had got them.)

Hearing someone coming down the hall, Aida felt a pang of panic and moved with her first instinct- hide. Quickly looking around, she ducked into a nearby open doorway and pressed her back against the wall, listening carefully to the footsteps. Once she deemed it safe enough, she carefully peered around the doorway to look at the retreating back.

It was another mudokon, as far as she could tell; male, with almost purpleish skin. He seemed to have lots of tattoos- she wondered about this for a few moments, then glanced at the direction he had come. Perhaps...

She slipped from the empty room- storage, she assumed- and moved quietly down the hallway.

OOC: Meh, I'm gonna try again.

Tiny looked around the room briefly, before walking back out and through the train station, to the Grinding area, looking at the flashing spinning meat grinders and wincing at the animal blood on them. "Anyone here?..."

Zuka fiddled with the shoulder strap on his gun. It was getting ridiculus standing around and waiting...how could he just stand there like that being stupid all day?

"Urg...I've had enough!"

His eyes darted to Clem, who was shaking madly from nervousness.

"Hey, Mud, you don't have to worry about going in front....BECAUSE I AM!"

Zuka smashed Clem to the ground with the butt of his gun, then slammed on his back with his metallic foot. Zuka's eyes glared toward Ike.

"Alright Mud, I'll give you 5 seconds to move. I'm going first, you got it?"

Clem felt a burning explosion of pain across his back and head. One moment he was feeling nervous, thinking about what ways the Glukkon boss was going to cut his legs off, and then he realized he was on the ground. Struggling to get up, Zuka just pressed down harder on his back. Clem could tell someone was on him because of th esound of metallic gears clicking.

Clem said weakly "Get...off....me...uh....g..."

Suddenly, Clem's eyes started to glow white, and anger filled his face. He managed to flip around, grab Zuka's leg and hold him up off of the ground.

Clem" "I said....get off of me!"

Zuka: What the....?!?!?

Before Zuka could understand what was going on, Clem flung Zuka across the room, hitting the wall and crashing to the floor.

Zuka:: Why you little....!!

Zuka's barrel of his gun pointed straight at Clem's head, right in the space between his eyes.

OOC: Sorry for not posting in forever. I've got track and all other sorts of things goin' on and...yeah.


Ike saw Zuka holding his gun to Clem's face and stepped forward and began to whisper.

"Guys, Krik just finished talkin' to Arnie. You gotta cool down, otherwise we might not even get a job here! And I don't care if you go first Zuka, but... you gotta be polite." Ike stepped away and stood next to Clem.

ic: Ark decided to turn around, for he didn't really want to be seen by these two. But while he started to turn to the left, he saw a door marked (Grinding Area). Ark, glancing back, slipped into the door.
"You got to be kidding, it was right where I arrived, and Arnie isn't even here." Ark sighed as he slid down the wall, "Oh, while."

Here's my second try at RPing. I hope it's alright that only my two characters interact, they aren't really near anyone else.

ic: That same slig came back, and walked down the isle where all the cages were. The slig stopped at Ol' Crabby, and began to talk. "You're kinda like me. Thing is, you're stupid beyond all reason," the slig said. "But no offense, I can see why you hate this place. I hate it too." Ol' Crabby was about to try to attack the slig, but then he thought, "Nah. This guy seems nice." The slig patted Ol' Crabby on the head. "The name's Guy, Ol' Crabby. I'll make sure you never get chopped up for meat. No matter how tasty it is." Guy continued doing is job, and he disappeared into the darkness.

ooc: Is that better from the last one?

"Grrrr....." Zuka lowered his gun and put it back into the hollister on his back.

"Don't even think I'm letting this go..."

Zuka said pointing his finger at the two Muds.

"...I'll get even." Zuka walked over to his place in line.

"You can have the front, for now....."

Zuka looked Clem up and down.

"Freak...." Zuka sat on a stool and smoked his cigarette. His pride hurt.

Clem's white eyes glared, then returned to normal. He slumped down onto the ground and put a paw to his head.

"Whoa...what a rush....dang what hit me? I feel like my brains got fried....and I only had that happen once....ok maybe twice!

" Clem staggered up onto his feet. The pain in his back and head were gone.

Continuing her wandering, Aida came upon a map laying on the floor. Curious, she picked it up, observing the layout. Apparently she had gone down the stairs that lead to the grinders on the ground floor- but the executive office was back on the first floor, which was where she assumed she would find the boss. She shivered a little bit, but nevertheless turned around and went back to the stairs.

"Alright."
Ike took his place at the front of the line again. He then walked up to Arnie and asked,

"Hello Sir. I was hopin' I could get a job here? I'm not really fussy about what one I get, but I do want to help." Ike nervously fiddled with his hands as he awaited a reply.

After being ignored by Ike Dr T and #4 were wondering around, he passed many interesting places such as The Grinding Room, The Pump Control Room and more. Before long they passed someone on the stairs [Aida].
"Excuse me" said Dr T.
"Do you know were I go for a job enquire?"

Aida jumped at the sudden appearance of the two beings on the stairway, having been studying the map before looking up at hearing their footsteps. Panic rose in her chest again at the sight of the slig, but this time she quelled it enough to not run away. Instead she immediately lowered her eyes to the floor, shaking her head. She was lost as well.

Aida's jump scared #4 and he jumped as well.

"So are you going to tell us were to go and sign up", questioned Dr T.
"Yes are you going to tell us were to go and sign up", repetaed #4
"Are you lost, like us", asked Dr T.

Dr T had a lot of thoughts running through his head. He was wondering if he would ever get a job, would the boss refuse his request. If he was accepted were would he be orded to work? Were would Slig #4 have to work? Questions, questions lots of them were running through his mind. "Do they even need a vykker at Rupture Farms?", he thought to himself
