If I was a better satirist, I'd have drawn a response comic to that one BM posted. It would probably feature a parade of people with money and valuables pouring out of their pockets. Their placards would say things like "Theft is bad", "I don't want to be mugged" and "Tell muggers not to mug people". At the front would be a newscaster.
"... Apparently, Brian, their key belief is that because theives act immorally, they shouldn't have to take responsibilty for their own safety..."
Might make me giggle too if the text was readably large.
