I finished worlds 2, 3 and 4 in one sitting of around 1 hour. I managed to finish the 2nd word's puzzle in that time. I only found a few at best of the other world's puzzle pieces.
Fuck, world 4 was trippy. Don't even get me started on guiding an enemy through the green-lined pirranah plants. I nearly ripped my hair out before finally ragequitting.
There was a key puzzle in world 3 that involved opening 3 doors with 2 keys. There was one regular key and one green-lined key. Of the three doors, there were 2 norman and one green-lined. I misused the green key immediatley and had to move on.
How far are you? It doesn't start to get really challenging until around world 4 or 5, at least, in my experience.
Currently halfway through The Hostpital. I know it will get harder, but I'm finding this seriously easy.
:
The only practical use for the Caber outside of dickery is if you have The Sticky Jumper, as you don't take damage from the explosion itself, but that also sacrifices use of the Targe, which is key to actually killing anything that isn't a wary Scout, Spy or Sniper. Engineers are actually kind of hard to hit because they're slightly shorter. Really.
What about defending points? It does a lot of splash damage, so you could blow up the mob of Scouts and Pyros around you pretty quickly.
I've almost completed Alan Wake now and I have to say, it's one of my favourite games already.
I have yet to try out Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2. I have a feeling that Bioshock 2 isn't as good ad the first one, but I'll definitely get around playing it soon.
I also started playing Dragon Age: Origins and it seems interesting. I'm a Level 2 Elf Warrior! Woo!
I finished Alan Wake yesterday and beat the first DLC just a moment ago.
The game itself was amazing, but the first DLC was pretty stupid to be honest. When I get some MS points I'm going to buy the second DLC, heard it's better.

Heh. You're in for some surprises. Especially when you start attempting the Dark World, and the glitch levels. Unless you are using the Minecraft guy. 'Cause if you're doing that then you are just a giant pussy, as he completely breaks the game.

Mr Minecraft doesn't count towards times/achievements/stats anymore apparently.
I trundled up to the Mall today to pick up Vanquish. It's a 3rd person shooter where you can slide around really fast and slow down time, very stylistic, extremely trite story and pretty good graphics.
Anyway, I picked up the used copy for 54.99 from the shelf, but the lady at the register offered it to me for 40$ New, because they were having a sale. I decided to pick up a Points card as well and bought Super Meat Boy.
I was dubious about SMB, thinking that if everyone likes it I wouldn't for some reason. Yeah, I was wrong. It's great. I'm not fantastic at it but it's still great.
Also, Undead Nightmare, the RDR expansion has one of the saddest missions ever. You have to Chase down 6 supposed 'baby eating' Sasquatch zombies, but it turns out they're just normal Sasquatches and the last one begs you to kill him. I reset my save and killed the guy who gives the mission out.
It's one of the best pieces of Zombie Related material I've ever seen, too. Handled just lightheartedly enough to not be pretentious, but still really fun and interesting. Undead cougars can FUCK OFF though.

You're making me want Undead Nightmare, which I had been avoiding because it isn't canon. I know, I know. That's really stupid, but what can I say? I have a weird ocd thing about not playing non-canon quests in games.
Been playing the shit out of Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue and am enjoying it immensely.
Except for the bugginess, the need for a video card driver update that results in the game no longer stuttering but Windows crashing (when not playing) and the character I killed before I realised I needed her alive to complete one of the acheivements. Dang.
But it's still an awesome game with a fantastic visual style.

Spending as long as I do here, it's easy to forget that Oddworld has actual fans.

This is the exception you should make. I'll renew my Gold Subscription if you do.
I qualify it as Canon, though. Simply because I though the ending to RDR was tacked-on horseshit.
Alrighty, so SMB is hard but for some reason not frustrating. I find myself just slightly disappointed when I die, but then it's like "oh well let's just get back into it".
Undead Nightmare has provided me with a Zombie Horse, which has unlimited health and stamina but which you constantly have to steer.
Today I found War, the first Horse of the Apocalypse that the game offers you. War is invincible and infinite stamina-able, and apparently because he is on fire running into things set them on fire as well.
Cripes, I can't wait to find Death.

Joe will have enough points to buy a 1200 point game after he buys Super Meat Boy.
What game should Joe buy!

Yeah, I guessed that you'd find something bitchy to say in response to my post.
For your information, I'd already completely A+'d the Dark World for The Forest when I posted, and I'm on my to doing the same for The Hospital.
Honestly, there is no physical challenge for me, my fingers just go to autopilot. It's more a puzzle game than a platformer - it's difficult as you try to work out which way to go and when to get around the obstacles, but as soon as I know how, victory is practically insantaneous.
DON'T TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME DAMMIT
Tell you what, I'll shut up, go A+ the entire game, then come back and gloat about how I'm so much better than you and a keyboard is so much better than a gamepad.

Ummmm, I wasn't being bitchy. I was just saying that the difficulty ramps up quite a bit. I'm telling you, and not in a snarky way, you are about to come across some extraordinarily tough levels.
Yeah, probably. I don't get to be arrogant and obnoxious very often, so I just needed to vent. I wouldn't mind actually being good at something, though.
