I wonder if they are purposely announcing it and showing a trailer right before Saints Row 3, they probably are. GTA4 is one of my favorite games ever, so Im pretty excited about this.

No, but the game will be even more tepid, bland and poorly written than RDR and L.A. Noire. Watch them kill off the protagonist. Again. Watch the game be about a goddamn postman.

I forgot how you hate Red Dead Redemption, I thought it was awesome. I never liked the idea of LA Noire though, not that it matters, as it wasn't even made by Rockstar.

Yeah, Gamespot is usually tougher on games than IGN but now I just go by the Metacritic score. Although in this case IDC what the ciritcs say because I liked what I played in the demo.

The trick is to find reviewers who generally agree with you on most things, as they will be the most helpful on if you will like a game or not. Also, you only need to see the Uncharted 3 shitfest to see how detrimental MetaCritic is.

Supposedly someone from Rockstar leaked a shit load of info about GTA V. I've seen some of the same info on other sites too, but I can't guarantee that this is real, but this is what everyone keeps saying:

- You play as a latino guy called Adrian
- It takes place in San Andreas in 2012
- There is multiplayer and co-op supposedly, 32 players for console, 64 for PC
- Gang wars are back
- It has the same cities as San Andreas, but with more details and new places
- Car mods are back
- Cheats are back
- Better cover system

STORY STUFF! Don't read if you don't want to know.

- You begin the game by waking up somewhere, beaten up and mugged by a rival gang
- The story revolves around a money deal

Don't read if you actually care about the story! I'm serious!

- Protagonist dies in the end (WHAT A SURPRISE!) and you continue the game with his brother

- The 'money deal' is a massive drug deal that's being shipped to San Andreas and the gangs are fighting over it and the story is based around it

Can't guarantee any of that so don't count on it. Teaser trailer's out today so we'll find out more about it then.
