Specifically, it needs to have more of my religion'
I think it's interesting that Warsi seems to embrace that people...embrace, their religions respectively, especially from a Muslim, and no I'm not being racist before any calls me out, read the Muslim doctrine on other faiths.
Nevertheless, I don't think there's much room for religion in a secularist society any more, I think that people should be allowed to worship but like in France, wearing identification of our religion should be minimalised if not removed, i.e. no crosses, no hijabs, etcetera.

Oh yeah, fair point. Maybe he was just tortured until he lost consciousness.
Interesting discussion going on in the YT comments about whether this is decent parenting or not. Some people like to believe that teens should be allowed to spread their bullshit because they are teens and it's in their nature. Fuck that, this guys is a king.
Maybe destroying her stuff was a little harsh but even so - Give that guy a medal. More people need to follow his example and discipline their children - Not just to prevent them from being disrespectful to their parents and slagging them off on facebook: Groups of undisciplined teenagers running around destroying everything has always been a problem but it's getting quite dire, especially here in friggin' Chav-land of Essex.
Sure, being a teenager is hard and all, but there are more constructive, more harmless ways to vent your anger and relieve boredom, and I wish more parents would take responsibility for raising their damned kids.
EDIT: For example several different groups of children have invaded my garden and stole things on several different occasions repeatingly even after ignoring signs, barbed-wire fences, and being told to stop by us and the police - Half the parents involved have been like that guy and disciplined their children appropriately, but the other half didn't seem to care very much... Even yelled at us for photographing said children in the act of trespassing. And that's something which has always irked me.
There is nothing wrong with punishing children, but goodness me, he just pumped $130 into that just to destroy it. I couldn't bring myself to do it, I'd have to sell it off to try and get back just a bit of the money.

Personally, I think a child should have the right to enough privacy to gripe about their parents to their friends. We've all done it. It doesn't mean that she's a bad kid. It just means that she's a kid.
Edit: And frankly, I think that airing his personal family business, and discussing how disappointed he is with his teenage daughter where all the world could see it is extremely childish. Not to mention how terrified I am that he thinks using a handgun to discipline his child, no matter how he did it, is a good idea.
Any points about 'respect' for himself and her mother he lost when he couldn't respect her enough as a person not to pry into her stuff.

What an impotent and ill-thought attempt at punishment. And you'd think that as 'someone who works in IT' he could draw the connection that maybe kids are going to use the information age to, as OANST said, gripe like goddamn teenagers. I neither agree nor disagree with the video, it's just dumb as fuck.
I don't condone his actions - I actually agree with you lot about that. But I still applaud him for disciplining his kid, while also finding the video funny because it's actually so ridiculous - But perhaps I'm biased 'cause I live where the problem of undisciplined children is very incredibly rife, as I said. Forgive me.
