In the moment of preoccupation Stivik mumbles quietly into his box: "It looks like the boss certainly is thinking more of fair play than respectability. He certainly seems more interested than punishing the slig than the mud."

Stivik catches the paperwork comment and shudders: punishment doesen't get much worse than that!

noe: calm down fuzzles, look (points towards a long corridor), some violent mug!
(the fuzzles hop off)

Rick: "This robot is a bit like Sligs in the old times... But he seems more effective. Hey, uh... robot!"

RG-49: "Listening to organic..."

Rick: "Uh, right. Do you have a name or something?"

RG-49: "My identification code is RG-49, prototype robotic security guard. I belive it doesn't say anything to you, Mudokon."

It's not really a detention, I suppose, but it'll keep you away from the workers for a while. How's that boss?"

Arnie, please don't punish him at all... I take my charges back. Sorry."

Dean looked at her, and didn't know what to say. He did not get what had just happened, but he decided not to do anything about it.

Anni then sat down, thinking about stuff.
Dean still looked at her, with a half-open mouth.

Stivik was also rather shocked by this announcement. He made a mental note to find out more about this girl. That was a bizarre thing to say after all she'd said about the system being unfair.

Another tought came to him: Was she planning her own revenge? She didn't really seem the type.

Well, Arnie had got out of this one. Stivik got ready to leave.

Otto: "Weird outcome... but I can have a meal at last."

Arnie: "Right, meet you in the Cafeteria."

RG-49: "Anyway organic, let's go to the boss. You're really trying to get me off-track."

Rick: "I had nothing to do with the Fuzzles and the water! Are your eyes broken or what?"

RG-49: "My optical sensors are working 100% efficiency. Don't make more comments or suffer the consequences."

Rick: "...Psychotic junkheap..."

RG-49: "My hearing sensors are working with 100% efficiency, mind you."

*pushes Rick forward with his rifle*

Anni sat up again, and walked out of the Board Room. Dean followed her.

"What the... Why did you do that?" Dean asked, confused.

"Well.. You saw what happened... Nick's punsihment got from stupid paperwork, which actually is very enjoyable, to nothing. What is the purpose of continuing this thing, against an industrialist... They stick together you know, and one day when you least expect it," Anni said, and got into a more lower, scary voice, looked around suspiciously, and then continued, " they tear off your head, eating it, or using it as an ingredient in the food they sell. Trust me, i know my stuff."

Dean was rather shocked about what Anni had just said.

"You don't mean that-" he said, but was interupted by Anni again.

"Yes i do. Who was it that had lived in that lab? Don't you think i overhear conversations? I know about they disgusting plans.
Even if Arnie doesn't seem like the type, he could aswell turn out to be just like them. Now, go to the cafeteria, you heard them. they are hungry, and i'm sure they'd enjoy one of your speciel recipes." She said, and ran off.

Dean watched her with alot of questions in his head. He had never experienced Anni like this, nor did he wish to do in the future. Then he made his way to the Cafeteria, and started cooking.

Stivik left, glad he didn't end up babysitting Anni. He stepped out of the coridor just in time to see Anni run off and some other mud wander off in the opposite direction. After a few seconds hesitation he followed Anni: If that mud was planning something he wanted to be there to... add to the effect.

(noe heard the noise of a crowd)
noe: dang! i missed it.
(the rat comes towards him, noe then spots a sign)
noe: (reading out loud) f-free f-foo od! (he grabs the fuzzles and rat and runs off) wow, i never thought this would happen! (the floor opens beneath him, and he begins to fall, then the fuzzles manage to get a rope, and pull him to saftey)
noe: (to animals) thanks guys, i'll guess i'll just go to the cafitera.

ok, mudling, that made all of no sense. Try to explain what's happening more. I get the general idea but at the same time why are there gonna be traps aeound repture farms? Who are they trying to catch that can actually read?

ooc: sorry, just a little event, so we can get over that big problem and go back to normal for a while. it's oddworld (the best escuse,) anything can happen (i don't realy mean that), well, lets just say the floor came loose anyway.
(noe found the cafitera, took a big bit of spooce and mush, and then fell asleep on the table, the animals go back to their buissness, and noe's respect droped)
ooc: can i make noe a companion, a chipunk? just becuase he is small, can speak english, and corrects noe, and bosses him around. this is ruptures farm, so maybe he fished it out of some jar? i know he is realy just too small to be a character, but something small has a big heart, and with enough effort, be big, and have lots of respect, blah, blah.

Anni then met up with Kix.

"Is it over already?" Kix asked.

"Yes.. I withdrew my charges. They when from paperwork to nothing.. so it was kind of senseless continuing it. Don't you think? Besdies, i knew from the start that nothing would happen." Anni answered.

"Those bastards." Kix mumbled.

"Yea.. but this is life. I wonder how it is outside the walls of Rupture farms..." Anni said wondering.

"Well... I have been free once, and i can assure you, that it's alot more exciting then this." Kix said.

"You don't like it here?" Anni asked

"I've never liked it here. I think that you and your friends are the only ones that are somewhat comfortable here... well, besides of the sligs and you know..." Kis said.

"Well... it's alright here... But... I've been soo greatly bored recently... It's the same rutine evryday." anni then finished off.

Unknown to Anni or Kix, Stivik is hiding round the corner, listening in with his box turned on. Ok, so an escape attempt might not be as an all-out rebellion, but it was enough to get Arnie in a whole heap of trouble... And enough to get Stivik a whole heap of moolah!

Stivik ran back to his room, locked the door, opened the panel in the back of his box and sent off the recording of the trial and Anni and Kix talking. Then, stuffing it under his pillow, he ran down to the cafteria.

Spotting Arnie at a table, Stivik walked up to him.

Stivik; "Hey, Boss. an I talk to you for a minute? I've been thinking about what you said about getting someone to watch over Anni, and as I haven't really got a job yet, i thought that, if you want me to, I might take the job."

(noe wakes up and decides to find a bed to sleep in, he goes into an empty room (the room of stivik) and flops down on the bed, hitting his head on something beneath the pillow, he tosses off the pillow to find the tape)
noe: what's this? (he looks for a cd player)
ooc: splat, if you want to keep the tape, just come and get stivik to take it off noe, or just enore me or tell me otherwise, and i will let noe play the tape, and here the conversation (wow, this sounds like a threat, sorry).

(ooc: Don't worry about it too much, like I said, I don't know what others feel about it, and I'm a relatively inexperienced RPG player myself. It just annoys me when you do things like that and the water tipping towards Dripik's robot and all that sort of thing)

Mudling, i would have to agree with Gretin about some of the stuff like that trap and the water on RG-49 and throwing in the recording in the trial. You don't have to try your hardest to effect the story as well as you can. Just go with it, don't feel people will ignore you if you don't change everything.
Ignore the tape in the trial and the random trap. It goes a little over the top.

But ok, if Stivik left his door unlocked in his hurry to talk to Arnie then it's ok. But give Noe a reason to be walking around the slig's bunks first if you must. Say he's looking for someone or something, wonders into Stivik's room, sits on his bed and feels the box. Otherwise it's ok, this could be going somewhere good.

Actually the box doesn't have a playback button. Once it's recorded all Stivik can do is send it. But Noe can have a look at it. Flashing lights and small buttons, it may interest some. But I doubt Noe wants to get himself pulverised by sligs so don't do to much. Press a button if you must, I'll think of a result.

Bare this in mind and you'll get on a lot better with everyone. It's when you try to do to much that people get annoyed at you, and not ust Gretin.

OOC: A bit late again, the others told everything. It just takes some time to get into RPGing, and you'll be fine.

I've never read anything about 'Stivik's room'. The only two places I know with beds are the RR and the Executive RR. Stivik didn't even ask for an own room.

I wonder what will turn out of this "...it was enough to get Arnie in a whole heap of trouble..." thing.

Arnie: "Well, you better ask her about it, Stivik. If she agrees, then the job is yours. I wouldn't mind someone to look after her."

Otto: "I wonder what's for lunch today?"

Arnie: *looks at Otto* "Was that really for this topic?"

*Rick and RG-49 arrive to the Board Room*

Rick: "Hm... it seems they have already left."

RG-49: "Don't play games with me, organic! I'm warning you."

Rick: "But they had a trial here. They must have finished earlier."

*RG-49 looks on the ground*

RG-49: "My heat sensors tell me that there are some people bellow us. Two or three levels, maxbe."

Rick: "That must be the Cafeteria. Let's go there."
