They seem to digest all of it, and pretty quickly, like when they eat Abe. Must have some ridiculous acid and stomach walls for that.

I think otherwise reguritating is obvious. Or belching it out, as they do the birds after eating Abe (they must be immortal birds or something).

Um, so as for Stranger, which on is it?
And as for the Fleeches, maybe they slime out their waste and leave and snail-like trail. Or maybe they're like some animals on this odd world of ours and process most of what they eat but let off any waste in the form of heat. There are stranger creatures out there...

Well I can provide a reference for my answer.
Lanning, Lorne (03/04/2008). Phone interview with Lorne Lanning. Full Moon Show #23, 32·50. Insomniac Games, Inc.

Q: What was the Stranger’s real name?

Lorne: …You know, that’s funny, we never gave him one.

Q: If you had, what would it have been?

Lorne: …Jesus… You know, that’s interesting because I always thought it was like an orphan who never was raised with a family, so you take on the name of what everyone called you. From that perspective, we wanted to leave an element of mystery in that way, and we never said ‘Yeah, but his mother named him this,’ we always looked at it like this was basically a boy raised by wolves.

Okay, here's a question thats been bothering me for no particular reason. In the "Under the Knife" video for MO, when the intern with the fuzzle cage walks in the room where Munch is, he's humming. But interns don't have noses, and you need a nasal passage to hum, so how is that possible? I know the intern could've just been talking to itself, seeing as when they talk through their stitches they sort of sound like they're humming, but that didn't seem likely.

Interns can still breath. They must have some way to hum.

Try humming whilst holding your nostrils shut. The pressure builds up quickly but you can still make a muffled sound.

I concede and retract my previous statement.

Abe's Oddysee questions

Hello fellow Oddworld fans I'm really happy that I have joined this forum.I played AO back 10 years ago when it was first released and it was crazy for then.It still is quite fun and I still have it in it's box laying around.
Anyways I recently read in wikipedia that there is a secret ending in some PSX versions that would occur if you saved all 99 mudokons. Is this true?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oddworl...dian_Angel_FMV

And lastly,I don't seem to remember well, but in AO could tell more mudokons to follow you?Because I installed it lately and only one would follow each time.I clearly remember that in Exodus there was no limitation in this.
Thanks

Hi f2bnp, welcome to the Oddworld Forums. Wikipedia is sort of right. If you save all 99 Mudokons in the original PlayStation version of Abe’s Oddysee, you get to see a hidden FMV. It’s not an ending, but an advert for the game that was made for but never broadcast on television.

And yes, in AO you can only lead one Mudokon at a time.

I have a question about AO and AO: why there are the secret areas? I mean, why have they been built? Just to keep Mudokons there? Do natives know them?

These places are probably just really hard to get into from inside the factory, so the birds came to native places just so it would be easier for Abe to save the Mudokons there.

I think I did hear about people making the games Oddworld studios didn't make, but they were nowhere near the quality, in visuals, gameplay, or content, that Oddworld produced. I'm just holding my breath right now for the next thing from the land of the Odd.

1. She is located in Nolybab, in the Hall of Larvae.
2. She is larger than a normal Glukkon.
3. She is Molluck's mom, since she lays some of the Glukkon eggs.
4. She is on life support, since she needs new lungs.

The way you see them communicating in MO. They seem to understand each other’s mumbling. Vykkers seem to understand their mumblings. They also appear to communicate amongst themselves with a lot of facial and body gestures. Their antennae help with this.

The Q&A thread is the proper place to ask a simple question which you don’t know the answer to, so I have moved it there/here.

An Octigi-like motif is a common Cartel symbol in the first two games. Take a look at Dripik's medals.
