I've heard a lot of good things about Kanye's latest. Is it worth buying? I haven't listen to much hip-hop at all from the last ten years, I mostly listen to the stuff from the 90's.

Pitchfork gave it a fucking ten. That is insane. I don't usually listen to what they say, though (they tend to be a bit biased). But still, it must be worth listening to if it got a ten!

Yes. Its amazing and I listen to rap from the 90s and the 00s. So much better than Eminem's tripe.

The songs are less poppy and more...I dunno...substantial? It also has some superb rapping in it and the production is awesome.

I might have to look into that, then. I'm not a huge lyrics guy and I mostly listen for the beats/production. Not saying I don't listen for what they're saying, just more the latter than the former. I think RZA is one of if not the best producer in hip-hop.

The new kanye is absolute awesome. I jizzed buckets when I heard the Aphex Twin sample on the album, and whingingly proceeded to proclaim "THIS SONG IS ABOOOOOUT MEEEEEE".

okay I have a request, maybe some of you might help me.

(embedded option is unavailable) there is a scene in this ALF episode where Trevor is listening to a song. He thinks it's Sinatra, but Willie notes it sounds more like Pink Floyd.
