Maybe there could be Ratz in some areas every now and then. They are closely connected to the Raisin though, so I'm not sure whether there should be a reference to him that early in the story.
Another thing I was thinking about
: the bell songs. In AO, Abe would always do them for you when you got them from the story stones. I think it would be neat if you had the choice to memorize them or have Abe memorize them for you.
Also, I don't think co-op would hurt if it was a completely separate story with no real connection to the Quintology. I like the game mechanics of AO and AE and would love to see them used in a co-op game. I wouldn't want to see the players rescuing mudokons through bird portals or anything, though. The role of the savior is best left for Abe, I think.
:
If it sells well and looks to be a viable platform, we will most likely create DLC for it in the form of more stories. These could be a new multiplayer coop story that may or may not be set in RF.

If it's going to take place in RuptureFarms, then I think it shouldn't be the one Abe was working at. The connections to the other games should be loose. I feel that Oddworld doesn't need to be a single player experience, but for the most part it should be. Especially the Quintology.
