That's because it's not animating when you're playing fullscreen games. What about when you've got windowed programs open?

True, but the software takes the same cache memory, and if I use another monitor, it still animates and runs properly. While windowed, as you can see in the video, it animates as usual and runs like a charm. I've tried rendering a video and an high-resolution image at the same time and it just took more 5 seconds while having the animated desktop. Also, you can use your desktop icons as your normal desktop, but I prefer my icons disabled.
