I was thinking about this, and sometimes music can be superficial in a GOOD way, but opinion is something everybody holds dear to. Everybody is vain. It sort of goes off Oddjob Abe's post about liking music that you know is crap. Man this topic has been beaten to death.

I guess you'll never tell me about the bass flute Phylum. I read your profile. I think I want to get one, it sounds cool from videos I've seen on the internet and I never even knew it existed before.

I wish I could like the Velvet Underground (@ Mr. Bungle), but I just don't. I get nothing from their music.

Fucking great though right? How do you feel about the new(er) album? It doesn't seem as special to me... less strange jazzy vocal harmonies and subtle synth numbers... but I'm going to keep listening in hopes that it'll grow on me

Here's metal shoved up your shitter, metal that has been dropped tuned so low that it sounds like brown noise. Vocals that fucking bad it makes Rolf Harris sound like a siren's call. Drums that blast beat so much I'm pretty sure that's all they know how to do. And it's still good to me.
