I knew a person once who thought everyone wanted him dead
|
Precisely. This is what annoys me incredibly much. I may be insensitive, but only when it comes to depression. People care way too much about things they shouldn't care about, and they linger too much on past events.
By the faking it, I was referring to attempted suicide, not fake depression...

Plus the fact that you laugh at it makes you seem even more American.
|
Americans into black comedy are they? Good-oh. Well, it doesn't matter how I seem to other people really, I'm still English. Funny also, that the two people who almost agree with me are also English/in England. Can't seem that American then.
I'm not saying I want the depressed to be killed or anything like that. I'm saying I don't respect the depressed at all.
:
And don't dare say that people who are depressed should do you a favor and kill themselves.
|
I didn't. I said if they did, it would be a favor, but not that they should do it.
:
They can not control what makes them depressed.
|
No, but they can control being depressed. They've just got to have some self control and stamina
Learn to tolerate. It'll get you furthur than dismissing people due to idle comments posted on the net.
I'm gonna leave this thread now, I'm normally incredibly impassive on such matters and dont have an opinion to give. Suddenly giving myself one is tiring. I'll go back to indifference.
