Well, hobo, if you take The Angel of the Lord to be Jesus he killed over a hundred thousand people. About the security guard thing: The last thing Neo and Trinity needed was a bunch of geezers having that gran mal seizure thing, warping into agents, and blowing them to bits. Plus, S.W.A.T. were going to show up and be more than willing to kill the terrorists.

S.W.A.T!?!?!?!?! this was a military controlled building! they were proper marines attacking them! (they had the right clothes for marines which you dont see often in movies, should have used M4's though...)

Sorry, but whenever I think of it I see the guys with S.W.A.T. on the back. They needed to kill the civilians though. What I thought to be the worst part of it was how the fact that Squiddies could be wasted with bullets made the Matrix's closing scenes seem ridiculous and contrived. So, all that time the could have ganked the Squiddies with conventional weapons? What a load of b.s.
