No, you fools! You've failed to heed my warning, and now look what's happening! If we abandon clothes, the entire textile industry will become obsolete. Millions upon millions of pocket-stitchers, button-moulders and zip-technology-researchers will lose their jobs and the much needed income that comes from that. With less of an economy, the governments of the world will lose money, resulting in flailing public education, health and citizen protection schemes, not to mention all those who are directly connected to this industry, such as those who sit patiently and pass that little bit of elastic through swimming trunks and hoodie collars, those whose job it is to measure trousers to precisely the right length, and those who design those ties with wacky designs you see really annoying people wear.
The world would be thrown into chaos, all for your petty personal pleasures. Thing of the elastic-threaders, you soulless, heartless anarchists! For the love of wacky ties!
