No, "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" is in the guinness book of records as the longest "real" word (excluding the sill ones people made up just to be longer). It is the name of a lung disorder, caused by the accidental inhalation of fine silica dust, which is usually like lots of tiny splinters, I understand. It causes irritation of the internal mucosal membranes, and may well be a permanent disorder, as once the silica has got into the alevoli (as an aside, I like that word) it is very hard to get it back out.

(*wonders why she has a tendency to talk very precisely when explaining things* oh well)

I also like "squish". There was another word I remember I like, but now I forgot it. I think it was something stupid, like "stoma"...

As an aside, "appleappleapple" is a fun word.

Origins: my little brother decided it'd be fun to plug stupid words into the "speaking text" programme on my Dad's computer - stuff like "I am banana man!" and "I am banananananana man!" Eventually he got to "I am appleappleapple man!" and discovered that it's not pronounced "apple apple apple" but "uh-plea-plah-pl"

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is probably the only word in the English Language that takes longer to say than its definition...
