Harry Potter let's children worship the devil? -

Hey, not all christians are not going to obey God you know and not all of them are going to read the bible or go to heaven. if a christian killed someone, and it was against our religion, would you do it? "You can't say, oh, but he's christian and he did it so i can do it too. I read Harry Potter before I thought it was evil like in elementary. But all that Black magic brings evil spirits to you house. Like what my friend's house, with all those spirits because she messed with that witchcraft and Oujgi boards and psychic things. Me and her were in the house. Her mom had to run some errands. I was like playing and torturing her animals or course

. She was like up stairs but I think she got out and she said "Have you moved the dresser in front of the bathroom door?" And I was like "Um....nooo." And so we were scared. And we knew it was that witchcraft because when she stopped doing it, and reading about it, she had no spirits anymore, and she had to get her house prayed over. So, you really can't say that Harry Potter is not evil. She read some fantasy related books like that and I think there were some spirits in those books too! LOL

how can you have the gaul to say that reading a fantasy book is against christianity? sorry for you non-religious people, but it looks like there is going to be a fight between me and pinky. ignore if you can. i have read many fantasy books. does that mean im not obeying god? NO!!! it really offends me to see extremists like you downsize people who read fantasy books. its just a damn book! it is a persons right to read!! and killing people? i believe that is wrong in any reilgion.

One more word of warning, pinkhaired one, speak of black majik one more time like you have ANY clue as to what it is and I am going to be a bit more than upset about it. Just because your preacher and religious influences tell you that X object or X idea has to do with evil doesn't mean it's true (you actually might try and apply that to EVERYTHING they tell you, but...), it just means that they think they have a good grasp on what magik is. you may just end up calling my religion evil one too many times and have an enemy for life. i suggest you read up on a REAL magik site, what it really is before you speak about it.

Joe, over my months of experience in arguing with Pinkhaired, I've noticed something. There is absolutely no point in arguing with her.

You'll have everyone in the entire club on your side with facts and good arguments, while she has questionable "evidence". You make a good point, and she counters it with "What are you talking about?" or "No, YOU'RE ignorant!" or "No, that's not true because it didn't say so in the Bible"

She cannot be swayed or convinced or even a TEENY WENNY LITTLE BIT close to even thinking about being convinced that you're right. And she'll still have the moxy to say you're close-minded. You'll give her good evidence and she gives you crap. No matter how hard you push, she won't budge. In that way, I respect her, but that is also her weak point.

Of course you could try to have a dignified argument with her. No insults or losing your cool. But that won't happen either, because you will lose your cool. Eventually she will say something like, "Are you okay? You're not making any sense..." when, in fact, SHE'S the one not making sense. I'm getting angry just THINKING about it.

So just back off Joe. Before you rip all of your hair out.

I think I speak for us all (except Pinkhaired) that whenever there is a disagreement between her and someone else, the someone else is correct.

Not only am I adept at calling myself 20 years old, I'm also very skilled at actually being the age of 20. and as for flaming everyone, I'm just telling you to back off of talking about things you have no clue about, ESPECIALLY when it happens to be a religion. If i told you what I truly thought about your religion i'm fairly sure you wouldn't take very kindly to it.

Hey. I thought i'd get a few likks in on the subject before it became irrelevant. This was about Harry potter and it turned into a religious debacle. Now is not the time to convert anyone. Just as it was with evolution, so shall it be with this. In all actuality I become pissed of when people say Anton Lavey is the father of Satanism when he dosen't even aknowledge the existence of God or satan for that matter. the "Black Pope" is trying to find "The Holy Grail" of theology, which is" Because of this you can sin and not be held accountable.'' the reason satanism and evolution are so popular is that they would lead you to believe that you are not going to go to hell, no matter who or what you believe in or what you do. and people, just because pinky doesn't sway to statistical morality doesn't mean she's a close- minded dumbass. look, if harry potter books make people worship the devil, do crime novels turn people into murderers? do science fiction books turn people into klingons?

for that matter, why would it make people worship the devil anyway? i haven't read the books myself, but i don't think Harry Potter worships the devil in them, does he? in fact, is any mention of worshipping the devil made at all?
