No way! I never played Spyro the Dragon, but I finished Gateway to Glimmer ~2 times and it was shit as fucking hell. The world and creature designs were awful.

I've got the PC version and know (well, knew) a couple of people who had the PS1 version - I even uploaded the advert for it, and a rare video of Rik Mayal doing the voice acting for it, something which was on the old HOW website and can't be found online elsewhere anymore.

Worms clone in 3D - And way before its time. Of course even 2D Worms is a lot better than this, but it's still fun enough to replay a few times.

Except for the constant redesigning of Sparks, that always pissed me off, and now this new backstory with how he was raised by dragonflies and looks different and has a gothic girlfriend and all? Like seriously, what the hell? I died inside when my memories of a great game were trampled on by this "new Spyro".

yeah the new spyro just killed all the old spyro's
but i guess that happens with most games like i remember when ctr was the best game ever and then they made crash nitro cart and it kinda killed it

Please don't lump in Legend of Spyro with Insomniac's games, you do them and yourself a disservice.

The 2nd best game of all time ^^ I only found out about in 2009 after playing Fallout 3 round a friends, I didn't have the spec for F3 till I got a laptop a year later so I bought the originals and they are so much better!!!

The Crash games never quite controlled right in my view. It was always way too hard to judge anything and the speed or sensitivity or something was far too unintuitive for me to get over.

I found this especially with Crash 2.

This is the site I went to for the covers. Pretty much displays every game released for the PlayStation...or most of them, all neatly arranged in alphabetical order too.
