From a human perspective that would be considered inhumane and I think that even if the story was told from the Glukkon's point of view, they would still be considered pretty evil.
Yeah, but as you said, that's from a human perspective. I don't think any Glukkons (except for a select few) are innately evil. They didn't bring numerous species to the brink of extinction out of malice, it was profit. I don't even think Glukkons have the savvy or foresight to create a future business model. They just take and take from the immediate resources, completely unaware of/apathetic to the damage they're doing. If anything is evil in this whole equation, it's money itself. Like they say in the Abe's Oddysee manual; "Don't take it personally when he sells your guts for fertilizer, it's just business".

However, I understand they played up the Industrialists' nefariousness for narrative's sake. The whole "Yes! We'll chop them up!" *Dr. Evil Laugh*. I stand by that Glukkons aren't evil, and that their moral code (or lack thereof) is just screwy.

If anyone of us had to say all the similarities and non-similarities of Oddworld and Avatar, the one would never end...

-> the main characters of both Avatar and Oddworld are not only alive, but sentient
-> both are set on a planet
-> both make use of computer-generated imagery
-> both are fictional
-> N'avi and Mudokons both have two legs and two arms
-> "Pandora" and "Oddworld" both contain the letters D, O and R
-> Pandora and Oddworld both have trees on them

You're right, the list goes on and on.
