Wow. Just wow. Are the high schools in America actually like they're portrayed in films? With the whole 'class' or 'clique' system?

I was under the impression it was just a naive stereotype.

In the case of most American schools i've been in, yes. American schools suck. I'd prefer a little international school like the one i'm in over an American school any day.

Most the people in my American schools were spoiled brats. What I think they really needed was to be hit every once and a while. That's what sucks, though; the good-mannered, respectable kids are the ones who've been spanked, while the brats who think they can do whatever they want have never been and will never be hit in their entire lives.

It’s been the opposite with me, the public American school that I went to had students that were more respectable, less spoiled, and did not think as highly of themselves, compared to the international school I went to. There was about the same amount of actual violence in both schools. If anything the ones that haven't been spanked are the ones at the international school I've been to.

(Plus, the public school had higher level courses and we didn’t have to were uniforms).

The public school did have all the stereotyped “clicks”, but that’s just because it had 2,000-3,000 student and not even half of the student body were in these clicks.

As for the whole class system, it really just depends on what school you go to; some do, some don’t.

Look under lining point I want to make, if the school doesn’t do anything, it’s because they don’t have proof, or you’re in a really bad school. Making people look dumb can work, but what annoys them (bullies) more is note being intimidated or affected by their bullying. This can be a good or bad thing, but if it escalates most facility know though that if they come to the middle of the fight, the one that’s upset and red is the one being picked on.

Anyway, I really do not think ignoring people is the best advice ever. They wil just continue bugging you because you're weak in their eyes.
Bullying and stuff could be traced back to insticts, where the "weakest" are filtered out of the group. Kind of like eagle-babies(whatever young eagles are called).

But I really don't know what the best method to get rid of these bullies is. Depends on the type of people and stuff. But i suggest learning to fight( so you can defend yourself), and also mayberead books andstuff to learn to come with clever comebacks to verbal abuse. If you're always a step above them, they will get intimiadated, and either try harder(and fail) or just leave you alone.

Also get other friends and be with them alot. If you're with people doing stuff, there are less chances for bullies to want to bully you.

Been there, got through it. I'll be frank with you - it's not easy being pushed around by people, especially groups, I know that from my own experiences. I was bullied from 1st grade of elementary school till about 8th grade.

My advice? Learn from it - if not today, then tomorrow. Putting up with it is something you should do, but only if you know how. T-nex said something interesting in the above post, about how the weakest are filtered out - it's either that, or they see you as a threat. Whatever the case might be, you need to stand up for yourself. You'll end up taking a beating, sooner or later - it's inevitable. You can either turn it into an experience that you can learn from, or something that really gets the better of you.

One good thing I learned from all this; if you're outnumbered - go for the loudest one of them, strike first and scramble like a wasp. At least you made a point and he'll think twice before going after you again. If he does - rinse, wash, repeat.

Most importantly though, the best things are learned in hindsight, I think of the people that did these things to me and I remember how most of them just vanished in the end - I never see them and they don't bother me anymore. From what I've heard, some of them are failed, miserable fucks who aren't getting anywhere in life. I know I'm not one of them. Bottom line is - things get better. If you can't enjoy that they beat the shit out of you today, at least make sure you're able to enjoy the punches you threw at them. You'll have stories to share.

Things are bound to get better, but only if you endure.

You cannot stand for this, really, show them that you're serious, and to get them wondering what the hell you're on about, if they abuse you verbally, resopond to them by speaking a sentence which involves them being referred to as myopic little dilettantes. As soon as they scratch their heads thinking 'what', it makes it possible for you to laugh at their lack of knowledge.

Although I'm not too sure if that last part will be that good, only use it as a last resort.

I'd say that's not the best way to go. Especially if you having trouble being vocal, etc. You'll probably just end up getting embarrassed if you try to make some snappy comeback.

I think the best way to go about it is to not bother yourself with the mean people. They're just doing it to fit in, such is pack mentality. The less you care about their taunts, the less fun it is to torment you.

So... just try to stop caring about them. That's my advice.

EDIT: And for the record, I'm not suggesting you ignore people when they taunt you. You just have to sort of... be uninterested. If they get a sub-par reaction out of you, they'll look like idiots. Of course, acting uninterested and actually being uninterested are different things.

I guess that's sort of difficult advice to take. What's more truthful is that you'll probably just have to suffer through it and make your own conclusions.

Well, I was bullied, and you know what I did?
When the guy chucked something at me as he went past I just leap up, grabbed a hold of his collar, and punched him repeatedly around the head. Needless to say, I was sent out of the room. But the teacher (who had a fair idea of what was going on) got the guy, and made him apologize to me XD That was so epic, I couldn't believe, I was like WTF....but in a pleased way.
Oh, and having a long-term friend-ship with some really tough people help ^^ I am actually sometimes considered on of them....
Oh, and having your friends with you really help, they make great confidence bosters! I love it when they actually help smack the bully off (Not literally) Like one of my friends chucked a ice-block at him, and it smacked him in the head. we LOLed XD

Seriously, I should probably asking for advice rather than giving it, but maybe I can help through what I'm going through.
You have to understand that they're human, meaning, they're aresholes but realy they want to do good in their heart, at least for themselves, but I'm sure no one wants to find out someone killed themself because of you. Let them know how serious their shit is, how it's not a joke, and you're not taking it lightly, if you can get them to take this seriously, most people will apologize, but then they will do it again, so tell them what they can do, and get some sort of agreement out of them, sure this most likely wont happen, and if not, won't be followed out, but getting them to realise what they're doing is in the long term, bad for themselves, is what is most important.

Remember, martial arts of a level 9 is nothing compared to level 10 diplomacy skills.

Oh come on, even the most idealistic person I know, being me. doesn't think like that.

Strength in numbers, find a group of friends and stick with them. Oh and I don't think much of this 'fight back' advice either, it assumes bullies are cowardly enough to know when they're beat, this is true, what is also true is they are vicious and petty enough to try and seek revenge. If you beat one bully up then prepare to get ambushed by him and two mates later, probably where they have weapons, if you can beat three bullies with weapons up, then go you.

It's finally mere solved , i went today and faced them , i kept going straight into them like a man and they kind got scared and tried to annoy me again then i pushed them until a teacher stopped me and cooled me down , when i get angry i go like crazy.
