I aint so sure, each game has different scare factors, though I reckon Its between Abes Oddysee, and Abes Exodus. Maybe they where freakier because they were 3-D
EDIT: w00t, 1000 post ^___^

Well, since AE is also on Oddworld, it's the same as AO (we're out of place in AE).
That's not what I meant at all. An alien world can be creepy, but in an alien world, other aliens that do not belong there are not so creepy, only those that do. In some circumstances. This is what makes the Scrabanian Templesand their native scrabs spooky, but the vermin that have infested Necrum not as spooky. Necrum has native features that do that (ie, the skulls) but being fixtures of benign origin, as can be proven by meeting the still-present owners, are not particularly chilling, merely culturally curious.

I'd say AE scared me the most. When I first rented it, I skipped to the Paramite levels, and they scared the shite out of me. The dark colours and map objects just made it all the more creepy, especially when a Paramite ran out at you from behind a rock. Aw, the good old days.

WTF are you guys thinking???? Have you even seen O adventures??
SUCKS!
I have never played OA, but I think a Game Boy game can't be as creepy as a console game intended to be creepy. What is so creepy about OA?

I voted with Stranger's Wrath because, as far as I remember, it had quite a dark atmosphere and there were quite a lot of surprises around the corner, without having Abe's relaxing (?) farts. Well, maybe not relaxing, but definitely took the creepiness out of it all. And don't forget the divine whistles too.

At my current age though very few things of Oddworld can creep me out. Probably the Stockyard area from AO where you have to get past the motion detectors can creep me out. Naturally it gives me a bit of goosebumps when the beam hits the standing-still Abe, but then the motion detectors have that weird Glukkon head appearence... So they seem to be flying heads with disturbing red eyes.

The motion detectors aren't creepy. Neither do that big ball machine. The most creppy thing to me is paramites... ugh.

The first secret area of Mudanchee is really creepy, when you're on the lower screen, and the Fleeches fall there.

In AO there are spear hanged muds in StockYards, in AE there are fleeches and mudokon torture (Tear tractor). Anyway AO is darker and has more creepy details (Grinding area barrel content... Yuck!) so I vote it.

Definately the GBA version of MO. That game had me almost crying from the sheer terror it instaled. Scared me half to death it did, I'll never forget it. I even had to crush the game with a hammer just to feel safe again. *shivers*

In case you can't tell, what I just wrote was a load of rubbish. I vote AO.

I think that the creepiest Oddworld game is AE, because it has Fleeches, which are creepier than any other Oddworld creature.
Fleeches make me itch. Jumping up and down with the Playstation controller in one hand and my fist waving about as I fled across the floor with a pack of fleeches after me. I hate Slurgs.

AO Is by far the creepiest, thanks to the atmospheric stillness, and the the darkness of the gameplay.

I loved it.

Oh guys...

Creepy means which game get a realy dark or maybe spooky atmosphere. Creepy is not the same like crap. *sigh*

I had voted for Abe's Oddyssee because of the different temples and especially the Stockyard Levels.

AO definitely was the creepiest to me. The environments were darker than the rest of the games, and music were pretty creepy as well.
