Ah something very annoying happened today.

Everytime in art, all the 'cool' kids seem to talk back to the teacher. So finally the art teacher got my normal teacher in and told her what everyone (only like 5 kids) did. So now, all the kids who like art and are trying to learn are getting in trouble.

So ok I've gotten yelled at before for doing something I didn't do. But this time my normal teacher said, "even those who were quiet are still guilty; they didn't try to stop the other kids" Now, if I were to do that, I would've gotten punched. Actually, this one kid did tell everyone to shaddup, and he got blamed for talking!

Now we have WRITE an apology letter to the damn art teacher! I didn't do anything! And we have to get it signed by our parents! Heh, just wait til my dad hears this...

I wouldn't do it. I'd actually rebel if it was me. If the art teacher asked me where my letter was, I'll just tell her to go away and say I didn't do anything. I can't believe she blamed you because you didn't try to stop em, I mean... How stupid are teachers? They should know you'll get beaten up if you do anything.

Well, I keep my feelings inside me . Anyway, my Granny (who's very cranky all the time, believe me, she has cursed me out) is calling the school tomorrow, and well...she's gonna rip them a new @$$.

As for the writing, it wasn't really an apology, as much as an excuse why I didn't back up my dumb teacher.

The word is "logical". Jesus, why do children always try to use two-dollar words in order to make themselves sound more intelligent?

He isn't using any methods. He's using common sense.

If he thinks that something wouldn't work out a certain way, that means that it wouldn't be logical in his opinion. It has nothing to do with logistics.

"The management of the details of an operation" is the exact term American Heritage dictionary uses for logistics.

Dude, I'm trying to tell you that you're using the term in the wrong context. Logistics have nothing to do with what you were talking about. But, whatever, keep using it. I'll just cringe in silence.

Ugh,A_S_R, I know how you feel. My stupid theatre teacher made us all do writing assignments for two days. The only good that came is the kids finally learned to shut the hell up. I hate group punishment, its not how the real world works and its f ucking ilogical and lacks any common sense.

It is usually effective though, as the kids responsible for getting everyone punished are resented by the rest of the students, and as a result, usually don't mess around again.

The teachers did it lots in my primary school. They'd keep adding minutes to our staying-in at break punishment. One of the teachers actually got to 16 minutes.

I dont care if it is effective. Its like saying since you were in the bank when it got robbed, you and everyone else in it will go to jail.

Far from it. It's merely a means of preventing any other individuals from interrupting the class. Sure, it's pretty harsh, but it is nonetheless effective and as a result, the entire class usually doesn't get punished again.

Then my class is different. They get introuble, suspended, and do the same thing again. That's why I get out of school everyday at 3 when I'm supposed to leave at 2:40.

My school's quite similar. Some people could honesty care less about getting in trouble and getting suspended as a result. They just continue doing what they do, regardless of the consequences.

Teachers have to learn that the only way to stop a kid from doing something over and over is to follow these easy steps:

1. Warn
2. Second warning
3. Principal office
4. Call parents/suspend for 1 day
5. If child keeps continueing, suspend for 1 week
6. If so on, expel

Heh, the people for my school would probably continue being nuisances, despite the teacher warning them or threatening to suspend them. They honestly couldn't care less about getting in trouble. They're just losers.

I know...

But sadly, nowadays, even if you tap a kid on the shoulder the wrong way, you could get sued. It's ridiculous. I miss the good ol' 50's.

Heh. nowadays the worst teachers use verbal abuse and they keep you nervous by limiting your calm down time with extra homework. here's the worst case scenario (in the form of a first hand experience horror story), and some suggested music :

the worst case scenario

Let's say, it's a girl. She's one of the 'average' kids, a few good friends, but likes to keep to herself. Not to mention a clean record. The new school year starts. Her homeroom teacher welcomes the students through the door with a smile and a polite greeting.

As soon as the students settle in, the teacher closes the door, and then slams her fist on the table of a talkitive student. She looks into the student's eyes and with a mighty roar of silence, quiets the class, and scares the pi$$ out of that particular student.

She then paces around the room handing out evileyes to anyone who dared to look into her eyes with defience. Making another lap around the room, she starts her little 'welcome to the new school year' speech, but it has nothing to do with welcoming anybody.

She goes on in a very firm tone stating her (almost impossible) expectations for the year, which includes getting to class before the bell rings
*stares angrilly at a student who just took her bag off her shoulder*,

being in your seat unless told otherwise
*a student can feel her eyes prying into his back as he slowly backs away from his friend's desk and creeps back to his own desk. half way there-*,

listening and following my instructions with SPEED!
*he makes a mad dash to his desk, clumsily falling over in his chair as he makes impact*

And GRACE.
*towers over student as he fumbles to pick up the chair and sit in it at the same time, failing horribly.*

In my class, there is no room for error.
*He finally gets it right, and looks away from the teachers eyes in a sign of submission and embarassment, as she leans down and loudly whispers that last line*

I should never hear your whiny little voices going off unless SPOKEN TO,
*stares evilly at the takitive student from earlier, who has gone a lovely shade of white (and has started to sniffle)*

And I shall get the respect I deserve during your time under my command.
*all the students are sitting up straight in their seats, refusing to look into the teacher's eye for fear of something horrifying happening to them. She nods in satisfaction before turning to the board and saying in her sickeningly sweet voice to get out thier supplies to see if the students are prepared properly. Reprimands follow for students who cant lay out the items neatly and for those who didn't bring the supplies at all.*

several months later, the average girl's recordbook is filled to the brim with reports of non-existent, non-important actions that have been described in a way to make them seem big.

The teacher passively insults her from time to time, and constantly gives her more homework, which raises stress levels even more. She barely gets any sleep, or downtime, from late night studies, and to keep herself awake (to get her homework just right, or else she's in for it), she has to have energy drinks and glucose ridden foods all the time, which makes her crash more often during the day, and lowers her acuraccy and raises her weight, which becomes the target of both the teacher and school bitghes alike.

And because she's sleepy all the time, she can barely keep up with the houshold chores, which results in arguments with her parents about very small things which escalates untill it's all about who can yell the most threataning thing within your age limit. Of course her parents always win and they can never trust her anymore.

Her friends all went to different schools and any familly members her age are banned from seeing her because she is on constant grounding for her grades, so she has nobody to turn to for help.

When she finnally tells her parents in a last ditch effort about her abusive teacher, they call a meeting with her, and because of her very deceptive voice and the ability to over exagerate things, the girl's parents give her no chance at all, and the teacher gives her a good, scarring, verbal beating for lying to everybody about her skills as a teacher the next day.

Because of her weight and the fact that nobody really went near her, she separated herself from the the other kids her age, and has lost all faith in the social aspects of the human spicies, claiming to be an entirely different creature altogether, with powers and values that noone would understand.

Soon, the school year ended and her parents decided to home-school her to observe her grades better. It was a rocky start, but they slowly improved. She never really had any friends after that, and her parents still shared a strong distrust of her. for those reasons, her parents decided to send her to her grandmother's but the plan never really came to fruition.

All that was left was a weird little demon girl who stayed in the house for long periods of time, sometimes months.

Little is known about her now, but some say, she lurks about this very forums as a member, observing, watching, hoping that this place would soon become odd enough to accept her for who she was. She has made only a few posts, but her tentative steps at being acceptable scared her into hiding again.

Can you guess who that was?

()o()

*innocently looks around* Iv'e always wanted to suggest that song. I think it's the most purdy little thing. *laughs nervously* (through clenched teeth) what? *looks around again*

*relaxes* well I don't know what you're thinking, but i see this as a good writing exercise. it's been awile since I wrote something this depressing... *camera doesn't pan away* well it's not that dramatic if the camera stays on. *camera still doesn't go* *sighs* alright, i'll do it. *takes out rubber chicken and beats the crap out of camera, but the sound doesn't stop recording, and you hear sniffles and the loudest profanities ever about school*
