Right, now to post what I got.

Gears of War (which I've been playing almost non-stop)
Gears of War Bradygames guide
Deodorant and shower gel pack
Tons and tons of chocolate
A silver keyring with my name on it
A book called 'A Shite History of Nothing', which is full of random and useless facts.
5 CD-RW's
2 pair of socks
A pair of pyjamas. Although they're technically called mens loungewear, they're essentially pyjamas.
A pack of glossy photo paper for my printer.
And just over £200 from random people and family members that didn't get me presents .

I read Messiah i think and didn't enjoy it one tenth as much as the original, i do have children somewhere, never read it though.

The preludes to dune were awful

I didn't get much stuff worth listing except Father Ted all 3 series boxset. WOOT
The prequals were written by Herbert's son and Kevin Anderson for the sole purpose of raping the original books for some cash. And, yes. They were fucking horrible. Goddamn fan fiction.

Nothing I asked for. I didn't ask for anything, yet that is precisely what I got. I asked for nothing, yet I did not receive!

Books, mainly. Which is fine, I love books. One of which, the Book of General Ignorance, has now empowered me to dispel your beliefs about the world, which, I assure you, are total bull.

So question your basic assumptions. Nearly all are wrong.

I got an awful lot. Being an only child yet having a lot of aunts, uncles, grandparents etc. can be real profitable at birthdays and Christmas:

The next 5 Discworld books from where I'm up to.
An autobiography I've been after for a while
Some comedy-themed book written by Stephen Fry
Lemmings on PS2 (Despite being an old game, it's great fun!)
Fifa 07 on PS2
MK Armageddon on PS2
Little Britain Series 3
The Matrix Complete Collection- Collector's Edition 10 Disc Boxset
Family Guy Season 1 (Been after it for ages but never been able to pick it up)
Only Fools and Horses Series 6
Only Fools and Horses Series 7
Only Fools and Horses- To Hull and Back
Only Fools and Horses- Heroes and Villains
Only Fools and Horses- Strangers on the Shore
The Story of Only Fools and Horses
(Yes I'm a big fan of comedy stuff, but OFAH isn't my favourite comedy, it's just one of the only ones I like which I don't have 99% of on VHS/DVD already)

Plus a couple of kickass metal CDs and a Metallica music DVD, as well as about 80 quid from friends and relatives. There's also stuff I got I can't rmember, a couple of DVDs and another game or 2 I think.

Being an only child rocks.

Our christmas food is very plain, but I do love to get chocolate, I usually don't eat it, but at Christmas I make an exception! I eat it all in one night!

There's a NEW Essential Guide series? As in the Star Wars essential guide series? Or is this some other set of books I'm unaware of?

I imagine it includes droids from the new trilogy, books and games.

Incidently, I just found my own Essential Star Wars Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, after years of searching. It was under my bed.

Christmas is always a big affair in my family, but because I've outgrown the years of childhood innocence where I believed in Santa (I've still never thoroughly forgiven my parents for lying to me about that), my Christmas presents have steadily dwindled over the years. The presents I do receive are rather nice though
  • Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
  • Nightwish's Once and Century Child CDs
  • A bottle of pure Bacardi Rum
  • A carton of Winfield Blues
  • Some Calvin Klein briefs
  • A formal shirt and tie
  • A Little Britain Mug
  • A guide to traveling Europe thoroughly
  • A book by The Chaser team, Burqa's Backyard
  • A Linx aftershave and deodorant gift pack
  • Around $500 in cash
  • A whole bunch of lollies, chocolate, and snacks

Alcar...

Man it wasn't at all surprising to see Alcar getting alcohol for
Chrismas.

My list:

#1. A portable DVD player. (Makes up for my first DVD player I got on my birthday last year that you had to connect to the television.)
#2. Cologne sampler kit.
#3. Three(3) more DVDs to add to my collection.
#4. The third Halo book and another book called Xenocide that was the
third out of a series by Orson Scott Card.
#5. Hermit crabs.
#6. Clothes.
#7. A present I don't want to mention.

Well, I had a rather poor crop compared to y'all, but I'm satisfied...almost...what it missed was an Xbox 360...I really wanted that.
All I got was a box of Belgian chocolates (which I polished off in about a day), makeup, makeup, makeup (some highlights were bright green eyeshadown and purple eyeliner...what can I say, I like to stand out), an arseload from Victoria's Secret (no comment), and $20 (there are very few people who don't know what to get me for Christmas). But that $20 meant the most of all because finally I've saved up enough to buy the Art of Oddworld Inhabitants! Sure, it's the soft cover edition, but I'm only buying the softcover cause I'm afraid that it'll take WAY too long to save up for the LE and then they'll get sold out or something. So yea

I can polish mine off in half an hour.

Typically, what girl would want to talk about questionable clothes
for Victoria's Secret.

Don't feel bad, Mist Glowi, that's how it works on my line, too.
